very pretty n well kept up n everybody seems to be polite n nice in the area,,,,,always fun sitting outside n eating sushi n seeing the dogs being walked on beautiful sunshine day

We have been stopping in Newnan for six years now and this was the first time we found this lovely historic area. The homes are so beautiful and the two Baptist churches are wonderful. The town square tells of the history of the town. I am glad we took time to stop and enjoy the beautiful architecture.

I love the shops and parks in downtown. It's very pleasant. There are several eating places to go and some unique shops. There us even a nice park down from the church for the kids and family to take a load off and enjoy the view.

Sweet little historic area. Beautiful square with shops and restaurants. Very walkable with lots of benches and shade. Visited the area for a family event and spent a nice afternoon walking around in a large group. Be sure to visit the Leaf and Bean for your coffee fix.

Charm and Class, what a well kept, beautiful American home town. This area has wonderful homes taken care of with pride of ownership. It made me want to be from here. We all enjoyed just strolling around taking in all the tradition and warmth felt here. I am so glad we had time to explore this unique town. I also found people here friendly which is such a great impression of this city. Gives me faith in our great country.

Newnan is, by American standards, an old town with the charm of a town square around the old City Hall. Some good restaurants and interesting shops. Great for a day's outing.

Great little town. Went to see the fabulous homes and found so much more. They wear their history with pride. We read all the plaques around the courthouse and then went inside to the visitors center, visited with Pat T. and toured the old courthouse. The toffee shop on the square has amazing chocolates. Plan on a couple of hours or more here...you won’t regret it.

we spent about 2 hours here looking around and walking. nice area. some restaurants downtown and shopping. historic area nearby with older houses.

Had read about the photo exhibits on city buildings and came across one sunny afternoon to see them. Worth the detour. Great photos well displayed.
