This course would be considered to be in the middle of no where to many, but if you are anywhere close and want to play golf, this is a great course. It is beautiful and well maintained. You’ll feel like you are playing on one of the PGA courses you see on TV. Prices are reasonable and they participate in Georgia’s Youth on Course program that has reduced rates for kids. In Statesboro you can practically play year-round too. The club house could have better food options— much better, but for 9 or 18 holes of golf I doubt you’ll find a better course anywhere close. It’s challenging, but fun!

This course stays in the best shape and offers a challenging round with its fast greens. The staff is always accommodating and the pro shop is full of Georgia Southern gear.

I live in Savannah, so there are no shortage of golf courses, but a friend told me about Georgia Southern University Golf Course, so we had to go play it. The Tee Boxes are carefully manicured as are the fairways and greens. The course has a fair amount of hazards and the 18th green is very difficult with many undulations. We didn't shoot as well as we had expected, but it was the first time. We will definitely be back. It also has a superb practice facility too.
