Park was clean and we rented a cabana. Food was ok for park food. My too young kids enjoyed themselves. Wasn’t busy but it was a weekday. Wish the cabanas had fans for the price. Overall a good experience

It is the perfect size water park that will not exhaust you because it is too big and the wave pool is fun.

Reasonable prices based upon height. We spent around 5.5 to 6 hours at the water park. Food prices were no more expensive than eating at any fast food restaurant. For a Friday, it was not extremely crowded. Waiting in lines were less than five minutes for the slides.

For a small town, this water park was a lot of fun - they have multiple water slides, a wave pool, lazy river and three different smaller areas where smaller kids can play without the big kids bulldozing them.
There are multiple concession stands in the park and their prices are reasonable.
One thing I didn’t understand is why some of the pavement walkways were “painted”, which kept them decently cool in the Georgia sunny days and others weren’t, causing them to be scorchingly hot.
They also have locker rentals which were reasonably cheap (when compared to other water parks around the country).
We enjoyed spending the day and would enjoy going again the next time we’re in the area.

While visiting with my wife our kids and extended family we reserved 2 cabanas paid for by my wife's parents. We were shown to these cabanas by a young man by the name of Ty brown and everything went well untill my in-laws went home before the rest of the party. Understand the cabanas are rented by the day not the hour. Immediately after my in-laws left Ty Brown approached one half of our party and demanded that the Cabana be vacated because the people who had paid for it had gone home dispute the fact that he had shown us all to the Cabana just hours ago. The portion of our party approached tried to explain to Ty that they belonged in the Cabana but he refused to believe them but walked away regardless. A few minutes later i was approached so rudely be this young man that I thought it was a joke. He possessed the demeanor of a man drunk on the minut power provided by his position as (Cabana bouncer). After a brief exchange of attitude I told him that I refused to move or speak to him so he left to procure backup. My party and myself were then approached again by Ty this time with his slightly more reasonable but not at all apologetic management team in tow. It was quickly established that our group had every right to inhabit the two cabanas in question and where then finally left alone to enjoy the rest of our time at the park. At no point did anyone apologize for the way we were treated by Ty Brown and no effort was made to make things right. He was still defiantly rude to me when I dropped off the locks for the Cabana boxes. I will never go again and would recommend u avoid these rabid Cabana bouncers at all costs.

The children I babysit love to spend the day here and never get tired of it. They would go every day if I would take them! Plenty of lifeguards working at all times, lines move quickly even when they are long, and there are fun attractions for children and adults of all ages!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this water park! They had plenty of lifeguards. It was very clean and had plenty of parking.

I’ve lived in Statesboro since 2001. No, I am not a native, I came down here for college and never left. That being said, I have been going to splash since I was in my early 20s when I would babysit. I now have an eight-year-old of my own that I take to splash. I’m super excited to have splash as an option for us right here in Statesboro! The only reason why I don’t give it five stars is that it can be way too busy, way too often. Because we live in a rural area, so many of the rural communities around us come to Statesboro to spend time and be entertained. So it’s not just local people, it’s also all of these small communities around. My best advice is to get in line 10 to 15 minutes before they open, spend a few hours, and leave between noon and one when it starts to get super busy. I do you say they do an excellent job keeping splash safe, with lifeguards all around that switch positions every 15 minutes so they don’t get bored.

My family and I have visited this water park multiple times over the last 10 years or so. The staff is friendly, and the facility is surprisingly well maintained. Some facilities like this one really start to show their age after a few years, but not Splash. They even make small updates between seasons that add to the experience, and they recently made the major investment of adding a wave pool. The lazy river is a favorite of mine, but the faster racer slide and spiral slides are great too. This place is great to visit with kids, especially younger ones up through early teens. If possible, plan a weekday visit because it is very crowded on weekends. Make sure to plan ahead by checking the schedule online. The closing time varies a few times during the week and the park closes for weekday visits for the season well before many out-of-town visitors would expect.

I notice a lot of reviewers commenting about having to wait in long lines for tickets to get in...What would you suggest the best time to go as far as avoiding a long wait in line. Also, Has anyone had any issues with them closing due to weather? I know they are very strict with that...we went years ago and I guess they spotted a storm cell cloud and they make everyone leave and stand outside of the waterpark area ....we live a little over 2 hours away ...

Yes they are very strick about closing due to bad weather. Try going due the week if possible because weekend lines are long. Another option is to go 35 miles down the road to Pooler, GA as they have a newer water park.
