I took my wife to this island for the very first time for surprise 65th birthday, any assistant manager, Donna, and a manager, Brett. We’re so helpful to make this a complete surprise. The island is fantastic. The pool is very nice. The rooms are very clean great location, close to the ocean close to the pier, walk the beach every morning watch fish every day. All around town completely a great place to go totally put it on your bucket list. Thank you so much, Tybee.

Cheap hotels, cheesy retail, no beach views. We drove out to see Savannah's beach. It has all the class of a county fair, and we still didn't see the beach.

The weather was great for the beach this weekend. We had a great time. The pier was not too crowded. The beach was not too crowded. The people on the beach were friendly.

The beach had a great vibe with friendly people all around. However, due to the strong currents, there were many sticks on the beach. Perhaps a quick cleanup with a dozer every morning would help. The music on the pier was fantastic, and the fishing was great too. You can catch the fish, rent poles and they clean it for you at a reasonable price.

Beach was clean. Parking was pricy. 8am to 8pm requires payment; Sure seemed everywhere from main road to the beach was pay parking. Pay via kiosk and not all kiosks were working "network problem" was error. $8.00 for 2 hours; $12.00 for 4 hours.

Tybee Island is run by a police / corrupt criminal justice system tyranny. They are still under scrutiny by multiple lawsuits over police mistreatment, their idiotic parking policies designed to extort ever last dollar, and every other cruel and small town/small minded crap you can make up. Even homeowners who have put up with these corrupt POS local politicians are suing them. They have a beach and fading and broken down area to serve it for tourists but they'd prefer to harass and take all your money like some petty Southern mafia outfit. They roughhoused some good Savannah girl not too long ago and put her in cuffs because she didn't want to get abused like some common criminal.....for, uh, doing nothing. That's Tybee Island. Stay away, keep your dollars and go a little north or south and let them figure out what hell they crawled out. I'm sure the residents are fine. The people running the police and local government, however, need to talk to God since they've clearly been talking to the Devil and hate your guts.

I can only say that it was very difficult for me to get out of the water! I kept saying over and over that this feels so great! The water wasn't cold, it wasn't hot. It was a darn near perfect temperature. The beach wasn't crowded, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I certainly was. I'm not sure if I was at the South or North Beach but I was to the left of the pier. The last time I visited Tybee Island I was on the right of the pier. I had planned to make sandcastles, but the water felt so fabulous that I mostly stayed in the water. I was there for 3 hours until the sun set behind one of the buildings in the background. It would not be good for it to get dark and then start packing up. We had everything packed up before it got dark around 8:30, and we had a lot of stuff. I've been to Tybee Island before, maybe in June. I think I will be going in July from now on but not during the 4th. I've done that before, and the crowd was huge. I had a great time and I'm looking forward to visiting again.

Dogs are not allowed on the beach this is an injustice if a dog can be in a casino why not outside in nature on the beach the restaurants were great and would love to recommend

We enjoyed our visit and loved the beach and restaurants. There are many nice beaches to explore. Sting Rays was our favorite restaurant, right down town.

No! However questions like that check CDC guidelines and if you are unsure then make sure you do necessary precautions so you are protected

The one I went to you did not, there was always regular parking past 14th street but it was limited. For others I do not know. Hope this helps some.
