I love this course. I’m spoiled by how well it’s maintained. All the people that work here are the best. There are even some from the past that have moved on to even bigger and better places. Sometimes, management makes some choices that we customers don’t always agree with. But even then, this course is better than almost all I’ve played. So, promise not to tell anyone else and we’ll keep this our secret so we can continue to go here and be able to play almost every day.

An outstanding golf facility. I play the majority of my golf at this course. For a treat, my wife and I go there regularly to treat ourselves to a drink and a meal out. The staff is caring and attentive. Price are very reasonable.

The fairways, tees and greens were good. The noise on a Sunday from the raceway was annoying. Check their schedule prior to booking your tee time. Overall, great price for a good course! They had a nice feature to order food near end of game, menu on sign with number to call ahead. They also had a craft beer on tap. Carts were sluggish.

A course with challenging holes for low and high handicappers. Well maintained fairways and greens with a pleasant clubhouse for refreshments after the round.

We recently did a night golf play day here and what a fun time! The food menu is very good also, sitting on the deck is comfortable with a great view and sometimes they have live music! Must check out!

Had the opportunity to play this course in April 2016. The course offers tricky, quick greens with lots of elevation changes. Nice layout that is kind to errant tee shots but offers tough approaches. Definitely recommend this course.

This course is an amazing value out in the country. The course is meticulously maintained, and the staff is very helpful and courteous. When they offer their fall rates, there is probably no better value for golf in northern Illinois. This is a challenging, but fair course.

Besides Aldeen Golf Club in Rockford, this is the best course in the area, and they are quickly improving and it would not surprise me to see this course on par with Aldeen in the next five or ten years. I always come to this course. No disrespect to the regular public Rockford area courses, this one is just leagues better. They just added new golf carts with GPS that are amazing.
The Course is always in great condition and the scenery is gorgeous, but my main two reasons for loving this place is the price and the crowd, or lack there of. I have never been paired up with someone at this course. I always get stuck with someone at the Rockford courses but not here and there really isn't a big enough crowd to warrant it. It really does feel like a hidden gem. Their prices are always very low and competitive with the other public courses, especially when you consider how nice of a course you are getting to play on.
There are a lot of events and tournaments held here so during the summer there are a lot of weekends, that are blocked off because of charity events, tournaments, leagues, that type of stuff. But other than that this is really one of the best, if not the best, up and coming course in Northern Illinois.

This is a fabulous golf course. A true hidden gem. With multiple tee boxes you can make it as challenging as you want. Most of the holes go back and forth over rolling hillside, but there is a 4 or 5 hole stretch back through the woods that is just outstanding. This is a great course to play on a nice, warm, fall day. They have really nice fall rates, and the course is just beautiful when the leaves are changing. It is on the edge of Byron, so it is very quiet and peaceful. Just a beautiful course. It is maintained as a top shelf course.
