Kids love it!

I've been there with our grandchildren over the years and they love the imaginative structures. It stimulates play and is a nice setting for adults to visit while watching the kids play.

Perfect for littles

We went a little too late as our kids were 11 and 12 but if we had gone 3 years earlier, it was an amazing park that is unlike any other. It actually would be a great park for a private party of teens to play tag with all its climbing and dragons and wizards. If you have littles and need a park ( more than swings and a slide) this is it. it was also entertaining for adults but not tweens. Just saying.

Must see for kids

We were on a trip for our anniversary and found this spot. Thought we would take a look. Absolutely wonderful play area for kids.

Amazing and Wonderous Place

If you have small kids to NEED to spend some time at this park. Imagination and wonder go wild here. The place is well maintained and kids will find something they love. As adaults we will love watching out kids.

Amazing every time !

Every time we come it is an amazing experience! Every trip through southern Illinois included “Castle Park” as my daughter would call it . It is such a wonderful place for a family to enjoy. Thank you to the family who built it what a wonderful tribute to your son!

What a diamond in the rough

This place is really cool. We took our 4 year old here n he didn’t want to leave. This is a D n D memorial park to a teenager that died- n what a place !! Bring a dollar or 5 n donate it. It’s free but it’s such a great memorial for a great cause. The castle had some really fun false walls n secret passages that were so fun for our little guy. I actually crawled through some tight spaces but we all had fun. Take you cameras n send pictures to your D N D friends. For sure you should at least check this place out.

So I’m going to be honest, I heard about this park through a Southern IL hiking group and wanted to check it out for myself, but used our two teenagers as the excuse. Lol. Absolutely LOVE this park! It’s cute for all ages, even without kids. It’s easy to find. There are lots of things to see (look in the trees too!). The story behind the park makes it extra special too.
