Located just a few miles from the University of Illinois campus is the Blind Pig. They offer many local beers include raspberry and coffee flavored beer. Their IPA’s are solid and the feel of the bar is warm. There is parking along the street and they offer outside seating. On a sunny day, you can’t beat this place.

Stopped in to sample some beers before heading to the hotel. From the outside it looks small but once inside it opens up. We sat at one of the two bars the bartender was friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of beers as well as a few full bar. The Barrel Aged Cherry Stout was my favorite.

We visited a friend recently in Champaign. This place was a real gem. The beers were very reasonably price. And the patio was fantastic.

I only gave 4 stars because we only had drinks. The ambiance is fun and cozy. The service was on point and friendly. We’ll return.

Love this place! Classic old building right downtown with two main bars. Outdoor seating and good quality beer. Bartender was friendly and helpful. If you like trying craft beers and love the vibe in these pubs add the blind pig to your destinations!

They serve about 6 or 7 of their own beers, as well as another dozen or so of a variety of other craft beer. Managed to hit happy hour so all taps were half price. Beer was good, but have had better.

The Blind Pig is very unique. There is a cozy inside bar and an outside area. The uniqueness comes with the fact it is just a bar that serves nothing but beer. The choices of beers is plentiful including their own brews. The Blind Pig has been voted one of the best 150 bars in America by Draft Magazine. To add further to their uniqueness is the fact that they do not serve food but you are welcome to come in with food you purchased elsewhere or even have something delivered to you to be delivered to you at "The Blind Pig". Great place for a relaxing time!

Unique variety of drinks--don't expect to have something like Bud Light here. Ask for recommendations, the bartenders have always been happy to give me samples to make sure I like what I'm ordering. Great service. A really nice "dark bar" with a nice crowd of people. Prices are what you would expect for specialty beers but nothing crazy. Nice location downtown within walking distance to other bars. Check it out.

I went for a college visit w/ my daughter and the Hotel clerk recommended this brewery. Walked in and loved the quaintness of this place. Of course, a brewery better deliver and it did. The Coffee brew recommended by the "Cub-Wearing bartender" was fantastic. I had a few more and will go back if she decides to attend IL.
