UNITEDのラウンジ。相変わらず食事はしょぼいが、今回タコスがあり、これは結構イケた。混雑していないから、それだけでも良しとしよう。

A Nice UA Club - Tucked Away in T2 Concourse F
We have connected through ORD many, many times, plus have flown out, almost as many. When flying United Express, we often depart from T2 and either the E, or F Concourse (really almost the same, except for a Y configuration), and are often in a bit of a hurry, so rushing from B, or C Concourses to our E/F Gates. In May, we had done an overnight at the Hilton at ORD, so had time on our hands, to get to our F Gate, for a flight down to Knoxville. We talked about going to the B Concourse, for one of the United Clubs there, but decided not to. We took up seats near our departure gate, Gate F11. My wife went to explore the F Concourse a bit and find a cup of coffee. She returned with interesting news - there was a United Club, just down the hallway! I should have known, as I frequently use the UA App, and it has maps to all of the United Clubs - but I had never looked, assuming that T2 and the E/F Concourses were “commuter terminals,” with no Clubs. Look how wrong you can be!
We picked up, and headed to this UA Club, for our coffee, and to check it out.
Now, we spend a good portion of our lives flying United. We also spend an inordinate amount of time in various United Clubs too - from the Global Services Lounge in T2 at LHR, to the various Polaris Lounges at EWR, LAX, SFO and ORD. At every UA Club at SFO, we know the bartenders by name! We are not new to United Clubs.
The first thing, which struck me at this small UA Club, was the very, very friendly reception we got, when we entered. The two agents were smiling, and so very welcoming, and we spent a bit of time, talking about our lack of knowledge of this Club. They took great pride in telling us that it was “the most friendly UA Club at ORD,” and likely the entire airline. With this start, who would I be, to argue with them.
The club is small by ORD UA Club standards, but with a somewhat familiar layout to the Clubs in B and C, that we found our way around very easily - also, amenities, such as the restrooms, are well-marked.
We had already had breakfast, at our ORD hotel, so did not take advantage of the Breakfast Buffet spread. We did, however, head right to the Illy Coffee dispenser.
We found comfortable seats, near the windows (not that much of a view), and my wife set up her laptop, and phone. We had adequate AC and USB outlets, beside our seats. She must have done 3 conference calls, since she stepped out of the shower this morning, so did need to charge her two devices.
While in this UA Club, my App alarmed - Gate moved from F-11 to F-7! Well, not a big deal, as the gates on both the E and F Concourses are very close together - this would actually save us about 12 steps from the Club.
We packed up, and headed to F-7, and the agents both gave us well-wished, and inquired how we liked their “cute little club.” Very, very well, was our response, and we promised to be back, as we had four more UAX connections during the year.
Unlike the UA Clubs on B, or C Concourse, this one, while smaller, was not the least bit crowded, and very quiet. While I did not study all of the Breakfast offerings, it looked almost identical to what is offered in those larger Clubs. Also unlike a few UA Clubs (IAD Concourse C comes to mind), this one is bright, and with great lighting. The mens’ restroom was spotlessly clean, and wife commented the same, for the ladies’ facilities.
Just a nice, friendly and very comfortable United Club - sort of “off the beaten path.” We will definitely be returning, now that we know it’s here.

I travel to and through ORD a lot, many times per year. Of all the major Untied Hubs, ORD has done the best job upgrading their clubs. EWR has a lot of catching up to do, which as my home airport, I'm excited to see some sort of movement.
ORD clubs have the newer look, newer food choices, bigger bathrooms and lots of locations.
The thing is, when I fly internationally, I will always choose the international airline club (Luftansa and SAS for examples) over the American clubs because they have a much more hospitable nature.
But for the domestic flights, and especially when routing through ORD, which let's it, doesn't always have the best weather and delays are common, this is a great escape from the crowded airport.

Terrible. Crowded. Only a couple seats open, and all of them soiled with crumbs and trash. The bathrooms have a long queue, and they're also filthy. Urine on the toilet seat. The food was all gone except for one scoop of sloppy lasagna. The staff people were totally apathetic to my complaints. And you can't bring in outside food so enjoy being treated like cattle among the other travelers. Not sure why this United Club is so bad, the one at Heathrow was almost on par with a Polaris lounge.
Seriously just about O'Hare entirely. There is construction, so if you're coming from an international connection you will get the pleasure of being rudely directly to a tent where you wait for a bus to take you to the next terminal. Funny how airport workers in Europe can treat you with respect, but get to Chicago and suddenly everyone thinks it's acceptable to act like scum. The only thing worse than the outdated facility at O'Hare airport are the people who work here. It's not worth the little money you might save connecting at this trash heap.

I got stuck in O'Hare airport from 9am to 7pm. Meeting cancelled blah, blah, blah. If you ever have a day like mine, pay the 59 dollars and visit the united club in terminal 2. Ask for Melissa.... she is friendly and will make your day go by faster. Could not imagine doing anything else today. She made a potentially sucky day not bad at all. Thanks Melissa.

This lounge is nothing different than other United lounges I have visited. They are clean and big, but the food selection is just awful. Try looking to other star alliance lounges like in Frankfurt, Munic and London.
The selection is not great and often packed with sugary items like overly sweet granola or brownies. The toast and bagel is just tolerable if toasted and with lots of butter. Juices are not fresh. Snacks like trail and nut mix seem old and dated.
Not impressed.

Against a domestic club this will be rated. This is a tucked away area of the airport from the main clubs. There is less traffic than normally seen at the other clubs. It is clean and spacious. The food variety is less than I have seen at other United clubs. I do not know if it is because it is such a small club, or just the day, but it seems like this is the norm.

Nice place to stop for a snack, flight update or drink. You have to be a member but they do sell day passes.
