When I think back on this tour years from now, I won't necessarily remember all the wonderful chocolate I tried. I will, however, remember our enthusiastic and personable tour guide, Colin. Despite the fact that he made us all introduce ourselves and bounded up a flight of stairs after we had eaten some very dense chocolate, Colin was very nice and is a great dancer and conversationalist. We would highly recommend him (and this tour) to anyone looking to eat their weight in chocolate in Chicago!

I used a Groupon for this tour and had a great time. My guide, Collin, is an entertaining and personable young man. We started the tour at the Wrigley Building on Michigan Ave. and visited our fifth place near Water Tower Place to help you gauge the distance.
Our chocolate came to us in the form of doughnuts, cake balls, fine chocolate, gelato, and cupcakes. It was a beautiful day to explore Chicago!

Went on the chocolate tour with a couple friends and had a great time. We stopped at six different places. Each stop was a perfect sized treat and delicious!! Best of all, our tour guide Seth was "awesome". He was very kind and extremely funny. I would definitely request him again!!

Best tours turned into No tours because no one showed up or contacted any person in the large group waiting outside for a tour that was already paid for. We Signed up for a 2 hour chocolate walking tour w BestTours.com. We were instructed to meet outside In front of the Wrigley Building, 400 N Michigan Ave Chicago, IL 60611 Saturday August 22 at 3pm. We arrived on time and there were a group of people waiting along with us. We waited n waited n waited... People started to leave 30 mins into waiting, but we continued to wait... We stood around waiting for an hour and no one showed up, no one called, n no one emailed us. It's required for the customer to cancel w the company if we r going to cancel, but it's not required or a common courtesy for the company to contact the customers which provide their contact information at the time of purchase to inform the customers that the tour guide will not be showing up today. Unprofessional at its Best! This business wasted a bunch of people's time and money on parking. Not interested in doing business with this company again. Have a plan B if u choose to give them a try.

Hello, I'm sorry you had a negative experience with BestTours, but I'm not surprised. We are not that company. We are the original Chicago Chocolate Tours, closed as of April 15, 2015. One reason I closed the business that I created across the country is that impostors like BestTours have brought the professionalism down and confused customers. We have heard complaints about them from many many people. I recommend you contact livingsocial if you can't reach the tour company, as again many people have needed to do.
It's heartbreaking that the customer service-focused business my team and I worked so hard on is closed, and that impostors who don't respect that level of service continue to upset customers and give the category a bad name. I hope your situation will be resolved in a positive manner for you.

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on the Chicago chocolate tour with Collin, our tour guide on Saturday, August 8, 2015. It was nice to have a variety of places and items, such as donuts, chocolate truffles, cake balls, gelato and cupcakes. All excellent! It was such a beautiful day to walk around Chicago. Highly recommended.

Seth was a very good guide -- he kept the tour on a comfortable pace, enough time to enjoy each treat but no time wasting. We tried doughnuts, cupcakes, cake balls, gelato, and also chocolate candy. The samples were small, but by the end, we couldn't imagine eating any more since the treats were so rich. We were lucky to have good weather for walking.

From goods to customer service, our Tour Guide, Eddie, made sure that we only received the best; and had the facts and experience to support it. Having been past participants of the cupcake tour, we invite two of our friends from out of town to join us - and they LOVED our guide and the generous treats we got to sample. A great way to kick-start the 4th with friends and burn some calories before the festivities!

Decadent and delicious! A great way to experience some of Chicago's sweet treats! Our tour guide, Colin, was friendly, informative and provided a fantastic tour!

I have been on some great tours and this was not it.
It should be called the chocolate cupcake tour. There were two stops with actual chocolate and one of them was Giardelli which you can walk up to and get the sample yourself all day long.
I understood the tours were only to a max of 20 people but there were 28 on our tour. If the guide imparted any knowledge of chocolate and/or the history of Chicago we missed it complete.
In fact, the tour guide left my friend and I at the second stop. We were told that we had time to go to the washroom, get a drink and check out the foyer of the building we were in. We both went downstairs to the bathroom and when I came up the last of the group was leaving. If I hadn't seen them turn right out of the building we would have never caught up as I still had to yell downstairs to my friend. When I told him he didn't appear surprised and tried to blame the other people on the tour for "taking off" on him.
Don't waste your money!!!
