“Over rated Poor Venue”

几年前，当 BMG 刚开始流行时，我看到的只有一条街。那时很棒。除了蓝色的脸，它已经完全改变了。音乐很少，乐器/鼓使用的油漆很少。不再那么有趣了，淡化版本。不值得一看！它似乎变得非常高估。 2 nd, BSTheater 是赤裸裸的，要你带上covid vac 卡和DL 和全面的口罩佩戴政策，然后他们自己的工作人员不戴口罩。注意到他们自己的几名员工没有戴口罩。

Not worth the time or money. If it was just music that would be good but all the crowd interactions were really bad! I actually thought about leaving mid way through. They try to make it more of a comedy but even that wasn’t funny.

El teatro no es tan grande y esta más alejado del centro de Chicago, fuimos a ver la obra The Blue Man Group, y fue agradable, divertida. Para ser nuestra primera vez lo recomendamos!

Over rated Poor Venue

1st of all I saw BMG years ago when they first started getting popular. It was great back then. It has totaled changed aside from the blue painted faces. Very little music, very little paint being used with instruments/drums. Not as entertaining anymore, watered down version. Not worth seeing! and it seems it become very OVERRATED.

2nd, BSTheater is bare bones, want you to bring a covid vac card and DL and full mask wearing policy, and then their own staff don't wear masks. Noted several of their own employees not wearing masks.

Unique experience!

We went here to see the Blue Man Group. It was a very unusual and interesting show. The people we were with didn't think it was up to the previous Blue Man show that they had seen, but we had no comparison so we thought it was a bit of fun. The theatre is very basic with scaffold style appearance. There is a small bar and a small gift shop. They are very strict about showing covid certificates and wearing masks.

More watered down than their paint.

Save your money, there are more entertaining things, and entertaining music scenes to visit and to go to in Chicago. There was hardly any music, or use of paint. In the very beginning and end there was, but aside from that it was comedy directed towards 12 year olds. The lack of music from the blue men was incredibly disheartening and disappointing. A waste of money. All of the music and talent tonight came from the 3 hidden musicians that were kept behind a mesh screen the whole time, and just played back up. If I could, I would write a 5 star review on their performance and energy. They should be the ones to make up the blue man crew. When my partner saw them around 2015 he said it was totally different and that in his experience they actually played music. I guess this is the result of art turning into profit, a washed, watered down version of the blue men.
(The message tonight was incredibly weird about how phones cause people to get into car accidents and fall into manholes?)

Blue Man Group Lives!

I have seen this show multiple times. It is always fun, especially for teens. The show is a combo pep rally, comedy act, drum show and concert. Hard to describe but always a blast. When I have relatives visiting from out of town, this is a sure fire way for them to have a good time.

Rude staff with their own rules

We went to this theater to see the Blue Man Group. The Blue Man Group website and all their brochures say no videos allowed but photos are allowed with no flash, meaning no videos but photos are ok. The theater was telling people when we entered that no photography and no video was allowed. When we asked them to clarify they repeated back rudely that no photos and no videos were allowed. Lots of people in the theater were still taking photos during the show so we pulled our phones out to do the same. When my wife pulled her phone out of her pocket an employee tapped her shoulder from the side. When she looked over the employee was shaking her head "no" really hard as in no photos allowed.

The lobby was small but the seats were comfortable, lights were good, and the views were good but we were not impressed with the staff at all. 2 stars for that. We probably would not go back to this theater for any show.

Blue Man Group performance

Took the kids to a theatre experience with tickets to the Blue Man Group; show is entertaining, does not make a whole lot of sense as far as "telling a story" but entertaining- the kids enjoyed that mom was part of the show! Parking is confusing around the theatre, but ultimately we figured it out. Theatre is small, serves drinks tho! overall, we had fun! Bit pricey for the show.

great show! parking not so great! $15.00 for 1 1/2 hour show seemed a little excessive to me. I know it was Chicago but the recommended lot should give you a break! Not knowing how long the performance was we agreed to the price. There wasn't even a recommended place to eat eat afterword. Kindda disappointing.
