This is the only way to see downtown Chicago, The drivers are a wealth of information and vey friendly ,park your car and shuttle everywhere you don't have to fight traffic and you can enjoy the city, I highly recommend it!

Brought my Belgian family on this tour during Christmas week. Enjoyed the drive. Had some Garretts popcorn. Saw the Wrigleyville Christmas market-smaller than Daley plaza....and less crowded. Went to Zoo light....that was a MISTAKE. IT WAS SO CROWDED. I will never go during the holiday week again. I have been there before the holidays....that is the time to go. Could not enjoy zoo light because of the crowd. Great opportunity to let someone else do the driving.

We did the holiday lights tour last Christmas and the weather was horrible but the driver and the other 4 passengers had a marvelous time. He was GREAT. This year we traveled to Chicago to do it again. Terrible decision. We did not get the tour we paid for(Christmas Market and lights tour). We got on the bus and the driver took off without a word. We drove for a while with no idea what was going on or a destination. We finally ended up at Wrigley Field. The bus left and left some older patrons with no place to go to get warm. Again very little comment from the driver except she would return in a half hour and if we were not there she would leave without us. Same situation at Lincoln Park Zoo and the weather was extremely cold . Her assistant was no help because as soon as the bus left the pick up site he put his sunglasses on and went to sleep for the entire time. Terrible experience on bus 608 on Dec 17 and at a cost of $70.00.

I bought the land&sky tour. It included a two day hop on hop off tour and a Skydeck ticket. I loved the trolleys and guides. Everything was very Chrismassy. The busses/trolleys were never too crowded. Skydeck was also a great experience. I had printed out the confirmation e-mail and I showed it to the Chicago Trolley employee on the bus. She gave me the hop on and hop off bus ticket and told me that I should go to the Skydeck ticket window and show the confirmation e-mail to them. For some reason they didn't seem to know anything about this combo ticket there. And the Skydeck employee asked me to go to John Hancock center..eventually he accepted my "ticket". I loved visiting the Ledge. There was an employee available there to take photos.

Shaymus was a fantastic guide.. he’s knowledgeable about the city and you can tell he loves what he’s doing. Sadly, the ride I was on marks the final holiday ride and this company will be going down in history. Anyway I hope this review will help Mr Shaymus get a good job. Thanks again for the extra bag of popcorn Mr Shaymus. From the Singapore lady. 😊

I was really hoping to keep my five stars for Chicago Trolley & Double Decker because we used them for my wedding and we were raving about them for a long time. I liked them so much that I decide to gift my sister in law a trolley for her wedding. Her wedding was on October 4th, unfortunately our trolley broke down 20 minutes away from our last destination. It sucks, but things happen, I completely understood. I wasn’t expecting a new trolley to pick us up and take us since we were so far away from the city. What I was expecting was some form of action from either the driver or the attendee. Neither of them knew what to do, they were stuck and gave us no guidance. We all had to end up ordering Ubers. After being split up into 3 different cars, we finally made it. I called the contact at Chicago Trolley that day to let them know what happened but was not able to get a hold of anyone. I wrote an email letting them know what had happened: the trolley broke down in the middle of the express way, smoke was coming out from the back, so we obviously rushed out of the trolley, nervous and a bit panicked, the driver didn’t know what to do, etc. Thankfully the next day, I was told that we would get a full refund and they were very apologetic about the situation. Problem is that it’s now December 18th and I have not received my full refund. I have been back and forth with them and have been very patient but my last two emails have been ignored. I’m really disappointed because we’ve used them plenty of times for weddings and birthdays but now they’ve taken my money, my time and my patience.

We went to the ticket seller on South Michigan Avenue. It was for the first bus to pass there and we we right on time. The ticket seller said he needed to go into the building near by, presumably to use the rest room . When he came back the bus had arrived . The ticket seller spoke to the driver and then told us the driver did not want to wait while he sold us the tickets. There will be another in 10 minutes he said. It was very hot this day and each 10 minutes I asked where the bus was . 3/4 hour later the bus arrived . This was after lie after lie from the ticket seller . Each time we got on and off , over 2 days the tour guides , who were all full of themselves looked for tips at each stop. Then to get back on we waited for the bus and we waited. If you are on the bus after 4pm it goes back to stop number 1 and leaves passengers there . So if you want to go to stop 6 , good luck with that. Better take public transport or walk !

Bought a plan that included Bus Tour and Chicago 360. When we arrived at the 360 they said the tickets they gave us were not valid. The lady at the booth and it's manager failed to help us, said the agent that gave us the tickets had given us all what we needed, which is false. At the end they said there where no refunds and all we could do was to buy them at the attraction.

It would depend on the weather. On a clear, not too cold day, I would definitely sit on top. Some of the vehicles are old trolleys and there is just one level but they are delightful too. Enjoy

we started at the one closest to our hotel which was #11 sheraton. Call your hotel and ask what is the closest location? our hotel helped us out

The tour is about 2 1/2 hours long. That gives you time for getting off and enjoying the Lincon Park lights and also the Festival in Downtown. Hope this helps.
