Great dive bar hosting various musical acts. Lots of character to this place. Live music played upstairs and downstairs. Downstairs cash only bar. I heard it’s closing soon. Worth a trip.

Great Intimate Venue

Been going here for many years and always has been a great intimate venue for local and regional bands. It's nice that it has an upstairs and downstairs so if you want a break from one of the bands, you can go upstairs and have a beverage and chat.

Awful experience

Im a traveling photographer that helps new bands for free. I never have issues after explaining that im here to photograph and leave after the band im helping plays and this was the first place. They first charged me a cover charge.The employee at the door seemed high and asked us twice if we payed after he stamped us. The place is a mess. Totally upset with this establishment.

Dive - good music- just so Chicago bouncer extremely nice didn't charge me drinks were ok but go for the bands- arts & for the love of music

Good music, great atmosphere!

We went to Elbo room to see one local band that we'd heard of. We ended up staying all through the evening till about 2 am. love the vibe, love the concept.
A MUST visit if you like live music and a casual atmosphere!

cool music, good beers

I went there twice with some friends of mine and assisted to two concerts. the acoustic is really good and I enjoyed the music a lot,both the downstairs saturdays concert and the solo guitar upstairs on sunday. beers are also cheap and good.
