the only reason I would consider staying at W Chicago lake shore ( which is disguised as a swanky/luxury hotel but the complete opposite) is bliss. the hotel does not offer a spa now

My wife always visits this spa whenever in town. Extremely friendly, helpful service. Really went out of their way to make my wife's visit, especially the reception team. Would definitely visit again. Located in the W Hotel on Lakeshore.

Had a wonderful relaxing facial from Jennifer. Will definitely go back. The locker room was freeeezing but it was like 10 degrees out.

I booked four massages for a group of friends for a special day out 2 months in advance. I spoke with the spa coordinator on the phone and via e-mail. I confirmed all 4 of us were set for an appointment a week prior, received an e-mail confirmation and phone call two days before our scheduled appointments. We arrived at the spa at our scheduled time to find out there was only one appointment scheduled and they could not accommodate all four of us and we would have to leave without any services. The staff was hardly apologetic and did not try to compensate us for their mistake in any way. Our trip was planned around our spa visit (hotel proximity, restaurants, etc). We are so disappointed and wish we had went to one of the many other spa’s in Chicago. Even the concierge at the W hotel addmited Bliss is not accommodating at all. Don’t not visit this spa.

Out of ANYWHERE I've been to, Deanna is the best at waxing!!! She is a lovely person & makes sensitive waxing experiences comfortable, hygienic, professional, & as pain free & relaxing as a wax could possibly be!! I've tried other places while out of town or because they were more convenient at the time, but Deanna has me spoiled. My only complaint about the Bliss Spa is unless I specifically request it they never seat me inside the spa waiting area. I have only come here for waxing so am unable to comment on other services.

Amina (Ameena) the spa manager quickly turned a very rainy, dreary and almost disastrous Friday into a sunny on the inside and wonderful experience for me and my two daughters by being both professional and compassionate while offering excellent customer service. I live for my children's smiles and Amina (Ameema) helped to accomplish my goal. The next smile will be my mine and fiance's own personal ones when we pay a visit to Bliss Spa ourselves. Thanks for your outstanding customer service. Oh yeah - My daughter stated that her facial was "AMAZING"!

I went for an hour deep tissue massage. The massage was great. Our group was staying at the W, so the proximity of the spa was a plus. As for the amenities the spa offered, they were average.

Loved my facial at Bliss. Tranquil waiting room and views of water make this place so serene. Also you can use those spa gift cards you see in grocery stores and Costco here.

Staying at the W & hubby had to work. What to do with myself. (No more shopping) Bliss is in this hotel! I had no idea. I tried to make an online appt. Massage, facial something.... but it kept telling me nothing was available. So I stopped in at 9am when they opened. They were super friendly & able to fit me in for a massage with Rachel. She was awesome. She worked out the kinks in my neck & stiff shoulders. Very peaceful & relaxing. The relief gets me in a better mind set. I'd like to try out more of their product line.

I have to first start off and say the customer service I received by the lounge attendant I think her name was Tiera or Tiara was exceptional. I truly believe it is time for her to be promoted. She does a better job at customer service than the spa director Mimi Ifergan. My facial and mini massage by Aretha was phenomenal. Truly insulted when I spoke with the spa director about my experience with Dara whom did my massage "Absolutely Horrible" she had a true since of unconcern about how my massage went because she was to busy defending how long her personnel had been working with Bliss Spa. After I was picked up I called the spa director because I was totally unsatisfied with how she handled the situation because I paid for my services with a GROUPON she had the audacity to say to me "I did not mean to make you feel INFERIOR". So that let me know the BLISS SPA brand in Chicago is racist and treats those who purchase services off Groupon less than. Let me mention I was African American and the director was Caucasian.
