Ive been to a handful of brewery tours and this was by far the best and FREE. Reese was an awesome and entertaining guide and id recommend this to everyone visiting Chicago

Go at 12 noon and go to the bar and sample before too great atmosphere. I highly recommend this brewery tour.

MUST STOP for Beer Lovers!!

Really good beer and fun tour!! The Facility is huge!! They make a crap load of beer out of here!! They started to make Newcastle here too! Crazy that Heineken bought Lagunitas! The food was solid!! I definitely enjoyed my time and will definitely be back!! If you love beer and are in Chicago! This is a must stop place!!

Like Willy wonka beer factory

This place is fun, unique, huge and more! It reminds me of Willy wonka as you walk down the hall to the brewery. I love the super casual atmosphere.

Felt like a giant kid in a beer factory!

This place was awesome. Off the beaten path Lagunitas Brewing Co. offers plenty of free parking. Upon initial entry if you aren’t paying attention you’ll try to open a painted door lol, so pay attention. There’s a cool long walkway with a familiar tune if you listen closely. After the cool maze walkway you’ll find yourself in the taproom where some live music may be playing depending on the time of day; there’s a nice array of seating either at the bar or table seating. I like that you can walk the catwalk above the factory to see how the famous beer is made. I recommend trying their two flight options if you’re unfamiliar with their multitude of beers.

So Good!

Lagunitas beer is very good. I know that from drinking many varieties over the past five years or so. The tap room attached to its brewery in Chicago was a nice follow-on to my experience with the brewer. Occupying a gigantic space on the near southwest side of Chicago this has the beer, the food and the ambience to create a great hang for the gang or a tour of the brewery. We sat in the great tap room and listened to some sweet blues by a one-man band and had a few flights. There is a nice lounge area to maybe cop a nod on a couch or take/give from/to the lending library. There are catwalks above the plant for you to take a walk around the actual brewery and to see how big the place is. The food was very good and the service was good too. Great place for beer drinkers.

My friend and I are on a brewery to brewery thing here i Chicago, and thought we’d start with Lagunitas. Huge place. Fun. Nice staff and nice beers. What more can you ask for?

The Tasting Tour was fun, tasty, and funny! The tasting pours were generous. Walking the catwalks with a guide was a great way to learn about the largest brewery for sure in Chicago!

Fun afternoon tour and lunch

We spent a great afternoon at Lagunitas in Chicago. Once inside the massive industrial building, there is a Willy Wonka-esque feel to the long entrance hallway. We were blessed to have a friend arrange a VIP tour making it a special experience with access to a tasting lounge. Kyle was a fun guide for a very interesting group tour. Toward the end of the tour you are tempted by the windows into the bar/restaurant area while trying to remain focused on the tour. The huge storage barrel area is impressive as is the high tech manufacturing side of the brewery capable of 550 bottle fills a minute!

After the tour there is a small schwag shop for shirts, glassware, product, etc. The bar has limited production beers which is fun. The menu has something for everyone. Brisket nachos were ordered and each of us went with burgers of which all were excellent. I shall return!
