The welcome center is staffed by very delightful, friendly, helpful people. There are many brochures about Dixon and the surrounding area that will give you ideas of things to see and do as well as places to eat. Definitely stop in and see them!

Very nice lady at Welcome Center had lots of good information.
We loved walking along river walk and sitting down by dam.

I had to stop in to see if I could get info on Dixon. The gentleman at the desk was extremely nice. He even let me use his computer to print out my boarding pass.

Open seven days a week (some variation in hours), the welcome center is located in downtown Dixon, near the Rock River. About three minutes directly north off of Interstate 88 / Dixon exit.
A wide variety of brochures for local attractions. The Welcome Center has FREE wi-fi access available. The location is home to the Lincoln Highway Interpretive Center and has a gift shop which features items associated with the local area.
Friendly staff. Worth the time to stop when visiting Dixon.
