We took our twin granddaughters to Rainbow Falls this summer. They had a blast. We ended up taking them a second time in the same week. It has a good variety of activities for younger kids. Ours are 5 years old and not swimmers. They started at the kiddie pool, but when to the larger pool area when they gained confidence. Reasonable price if you are an Elk Grove resident.

Visited with my 5-year-old daughter on a weekday morning/afternoon. Place charges admission, but adults are free to visit. Kids are $12, which is a decent price for a day pass, especially with everything the park offers. Recommend arriving earlier in the day, so that kids can have 2-3 hours to play and frolic.
Park has some different rides available, which are all geared for littler kids (i.e., mom & dad don't have to ride). They also have a bouncy house and a rock wall for kids who want more activity. There's also a castle area with a couple playgrounds inside it as well as a big slide coming down a dragon's back. Plenty of things to keep kids busy, but keep in mind that older kids (i.e., >10 years) are likely to get bored pretty quickly.
Plenty of shaded areas for downtime and/or moments of respite from the sun. A huge pirate ship in the middle of the park offers picnic tables on its deck for a lunch or snack break. We brought our own snacks for the visit, but there's a small concession stand that provides food for purchase.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Daughter especially loved the pirate show/skit that two of the girls on staff performed.

This place was alright, we visited for a birthday party however I would take my child again, he enjoyed it. Nothing special but good place to take smaller kids. Food was so so. Bring sun screen and enjoy the planes as they fly over. No issues with lines and there were multiple parties being held. Would go again. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Your kids will enjoy it.

So we have taken the kids to Pirates Cove multiple times and the best part is they only charge for the kids. $12 all you can do, per kid. I think the cut off for this place is 6 years old, and even that might be a little old if they don't have younger siblings. There isn't a better place to take the kids for a morning before lunch and nap time. The whole place is geared to 6 and under. There is a castle play structure, jumpy house, safari train ride, potato sack slide, small merry go round, small water paddle boats, climbing wall, and even a little pirate show. I would recommend bringing snacks and a lunch, plenty of space to eat on the covered pirate ship. I would beware of summer crowds, birthday parties, and camp outings. It is definitely worth at least an hour and if the kids are having fun it could turn into three hours. If you have a couple toddlers and you are looking for a fun summer activity, then this is for you. The staff is friendly and the park is clean. It may be dated in some parts, but kids won't know the difference.

This is a great place to visit if you have children between the ages of 2-6 years of age! They will love it!

My kids loved going here when they were younger. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours for children 5 and under.

I was looking for somewhere different to go with my three lil ones 7 and under and this was a perfect 2-2.5 hr day. Rock Climbing, potatoe sack slides, awesome lil paddle boats all three loved those. Small park with dragon slide and more... A huge pirate ship, where you can eat your home made picnic food or purchase theirs. The kids had a blast. Definitely qould recommend for 7 and under. Really nice place for lil ones.

Just visited this delightful attraction geared for young children 10 and under. The variety of rides and activities are perfect for this age of children. Take a short train ride, climb on the giant dinosaur and then slide down his tail, captain a pirate ship, or enjoy a paddle boat in the lagoon, complete an arts and craft projects, and/or attend the daily show. And, children can enjoy all these options as often as they want. The park is designed with lots of shade, gardens, grassy areas, and even misters. friendly young folks serve as the entertainers and ride guides. Immaculately clean, and only those 10 and under pay admission, so adults accompanying the children can enjoy all the smiles and fun for free. Really a neat place!!!!

This is great place to take the Grandkids (under 10yrs). Not too big, plenty of shade, safe contained space. The little guys love the rides and play areas. Comfortable place to let them play and burn off energy for a few hours. Snacks are affordable as are the little toys and trinkets. Grounds are clean and well maintained.

well since your website is down, How much is it per child? what ages get in free? can you bring a picnic lunch?

$12 for children. $9 if resident or military. Child is defined as any kid that goes on the rides. Our baby in the stroller was free. But our 2 year old paid. We brought in our own food without a problem. There are picnic tables.
