An amazing Park for all seasons. stroll, ride bicycles, ice skate & boat launch. Memorial, Small water feature & more Many civic events held in this area through the year.

Good choice to gather with family the day after my step son’s wedding. Even though the beach was restricted to residents and were limiting the numbers, I still snuck down with one of the grandkids. Nice shelter to have an afternoon picnic but parking was terrible. We parked quite a ways away while other family members were a good mile! Enjoyed just laying in the grass watching the clouds on a Sunday afternoon.

Great place to walk. Take your date or a friend. Hang with the kids or the dog. Lay in the grass or sit on a bench. Nice destination for an afternoon stroll.

Go for a concert or an art fair at this beautifully restored park around a pool. Lake Michigan just across the green.

The 20 minute drive to Evanston is 100% worth it for the Greenwood Beach at Dawes Park. There is a fee to enter, but it's worth every penny - the beach is clean, the lifeguards are attentive and it's incredibly family friendly.

This park is awesome and right on the lake. We have taken walks here in every season and it is such a nice place to hang out. Bring your grill in the summer. It is a popular spot in the warm months but there is pleanty of room
