Great little store in the middle of the block in Galena. Don’t miss all the fun, eclectic items here. George was behind the counter and gave us a warm welcome.

Percy, the beautiful English Setter drew us into the store. He was very sweet and cuddly. Tim, the shop owner, was very knowledgeable and friendly. I ended up purchasing some jewelry from Paris in that store. Most of the store is home decor, however, there's a little bit of everything. We loved our time there.

We walked in and were greeted by the most adorable dog, Percy. He is a beautiful English Setter who couldn't be more friendly. The owner is as friendly as Percy and extremely helpful. The items in the store are very high quality and reasonably priced. Several of the items are made by local artists, one of which happened to be on-site, dropping off new pieces. Thanks to my wife, I feel we'll be spending quite a bit of money here over the next few visits.

Great gallery on main street in Galena. Beautiful space with variety of interesting pieces. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Right on Main Street this lovely two floor gallery has lots of really nice pieces. From Curtis Brock to Tim's (the proprieter's husband) wood tables, there are many interesting pieces to set your eyes and wallet on. With a really cute town filled with touristy shops finding these gems is worth it all.

Drop my wife into a town like Galena, on a street like Main Street, and find something else to do because she will find plenty to do and plenty of people to talk to and plenty of things to buy. Of course, later, she often will complain that she really didn't need to buy whatever she bought. But she did and...well, isn't it fun to spend a day spending money in a town like Galena? On our recent two-day visit to the historic town, my wife found plenty of dress shops, boutiques, antique stores, book stores and others too numerous to mention. One that definitely is worth mentioning is Maggie Black. It's a lovely, well organized, two-story art gallery that was established in June, 2013. It has something of everything...original art, hand crafted accessories, home decor, furniture, interior designs, glassware. "Your home, your style," is the motto. And they schedule house calls. After browsing for several minutes--I long since have stopped keeping time--my wife found a copper basket that she suggested would fit on top of one of our book shelves. She was right. You didn't think she'd go into a store like that and not come away with something, did you? The odds are good that you will find something, too.
