Beautiful park with riverside beaches, swimming available (shark net protected), change rooms, showers and lovely bush walks. There is an awesome kids park, and all in all it is a great place to visit.

This is a wonderful place for quiet walks or contemplation. Picnics are easy as there are plenty of tables and BBQ plates. It is well managed by Hurstville council generally.

Ya it was like so good cause it was good and I liked face planting into da water with Jen (Meh BeStIe) and ugg it was so annoying when I face planted into the water. So it was good

Lime Kiln Head is a nice forested headland but Oatley Park is set up for driving to the attractions (great playground, strange castle-looking picnic shelter, lookouts etc) so it's hard to escape the traffic. The hiking path down near the water is the best part, especially the area around Jewfish Bay - a bit of a slimy beach but looks like a good swimming area. Oatley also has several good parks on the eastern side of the train line: Memorial Park, which is on the old train alignment, the old Pleasure Grounds which are peaceful and forested but the beach is not as good as Jewfish Bay, and Moore Reserve with some nice wetlands along Renown Creek.

Walk, cycle or drive around Oatley Park. It is a quiet natural bushland setting with views of the George's River. It has a path set aside for cycling but unfortunately this is shared with cars. The walks are not too challenging and comfortable for those walkers who just want the exercise and fresh air. The picnic areas don't have enough barbecues to cater for the weekend crowds.

Oatley Park holds many interests, bird watching, scenic river views, BBQ area and playground toys for children to play on.
It is also a great play to just sit and watch to world go by.
It has an excellent bike track to potter around.

Beautiful bushland park with pretty views. Good for walks, a swim in summer and a BBQ. Also good for bike riding.

A lovely park for a family day out. Good to walk around and enjoy some trees and water. You'll need to walk a bit from the parking spot. There is also a castle inside.

My wife and I walk through Oatley park nearly every day. The single lane one way road can be a problem as the speed limit is 20kph by nearly every bicycle and car speed through the park. As a pedestrian you need to watch out for speeding bikes. A radar trap would make a motza here on weekends as the bikes speed on the down hill sections. The situation has improved lately as the council has installed marking on the road one side for bike and one side for pedestrians. Most bike rider keep to their side.
There are great spots for kids, a picnic or BBQ in steam roller park or down near the Castle. There is also and enclosed baths for swimming in the river.
All up Oatley park is a little piece of heaven (native bush) in the Sydney suburbs.
