This was my first trip to this course. Considering the drought in Illinois, fairways and greens were in excellent condition.

I love this place. Well priced. Not too challenging. Perfect for an occasion golfer like me. Beautiful landscaping and grounds. I've heard many golfers say this is Cook County's best course.

The course is a great one and some difficult fairways always exciting. The food is excellent and the pro shop is maned by great people.

This is a nice little course.
It's in fairly good shape and the greens are extremely true. No strange little pits or valleys that will make your ball go in a direction you weren't anticipating. Set your ball on the green, take a look at the pitch and rolls, set up your line and the ball will go in the hole.
There is a fair amount of water on nearly every hole so be prepared to lose a few balls if you don't stay in the fairway or if you over hit when laying up on an approach to the green.
The bar is nice with a hard-working bartender who takes care of both the drinks and the food in the late hours.
We will likely return.

My wife and I go at least 2 times a year for the past 10 years. The course plays well, is taken nice care of and not over challenging. Challenging and long enough to be fun.

Played at Hilldale many times both for fun and various outings. The course is well maintained including the greens and provides some challenging shots. Recommend taking a cart, in case your all over the place and your partner is on the opposite side of the fairway.
