Great place for a girls day. Spend the day with good friends and headed to Monmouth Illinois. Stop for a glass of wine and light snack. This selection and drinks phenomenal . Nice. We end up staying for two hours great drinks, two cheese plates and conversation. Great for anyone is traveling through that area. Were there during the day. I imagine at night it’s a great place to hang out

Market Alley is a lovely jewel. It feels like an upscale, Chicago hot spot - with a great selection of wines and Prosecco, and a beautiful, warm vibe and interior. I make sure to go any time I am back in Monmouth.

Went with another couple on a Friday night to hear some special entertainment. Nice atmosphere. Huge selection of wine and whiskey (?). Will go back and would recommend. Everyone very friendly.

MAW is a great place to have in Monmouth. If you go in the early evening, it can be fairly quiet and just a nice place to relax. If you go when there is entertainment or prime time, there are plenty of people to visit with and everyone sings along and it's fun! We have been there for private parties too, and the owners are super nice. Check it out!

We were visiting Galesburg and my cousin, who loves this place, decided to take us there. We went in the afternoon and had an immediate, friendly greeting from the owner as we entered. She was ready with recommendations and we decided to split a bottle. We weren't too hungry so we ordered as cheese platter to accompany our wine. We spent a lovely couple of hours there talking not only to each other, but with the owner and other friendly patrons who stopped by for a drink. The decor is wonderful, has a great gift area, great selection of wines, and wonderful people. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink before we headed out for dinner. There was a young man playing the guitar there that afternoon. It made for a very enjoyable time. The owner is so bubbly and takes the time to point out the local brews and offers suggestions. Also a great place to take home a bottle of wine or two!

What a welcoming, artsy, fun, comfy spot to sit down and enjoy great wine (and other spirits) Great atmosphere, a knowledgeable, friendly owner and (while I haven't had a chance to experience it yet) frequent live music sessions...Kind of everything you could hope for in a 'wine bar'. I say : Go! Sit yourself down and experience it! Frequently! The best sort of local business

I love this place- has a nice selection of wines and really unique wine oriented gifts. The main reason to go there is to sit at the great bar and enjoy a glass of wine. I think they also serve some beer and whiskey/scotch since they sell a bit of both. They also have a nice but small selection of appetizers- tried a few & they were very good & reasonably priced. Love the nice stemware they use and wines by the glass decent prices and a good pour. Love the ambience - the staff is always friendly -bar service or sofas and tables and chairs as well. Really a fun place/ great decor- live music often

Market Alley Wines lives up to its name. There are many types of wine to choose...buy it and take it home, or have them open it and sit down with your friends and enjoy it there! There are wine-related knick-knacks/accessories for sale. If some of your friends are beer drinkers, there is a nice selection of craft beers, as well. If you get the munchies, they have cheese/crackers or hummus/crackers trays to purchase. We found the owner to be friendly, and knowledgeable. Some nights, they also feature live music. What a nice gem right in the heart of town!
