The seats sound and display were good but theater smelled like urine. We arrived early and it took a long time to get used to the smell. Will most likely not return.

Attended an early afternoon matter, so there were very few people in the theater. The first thing that hit me was the smell. It actually smelled like a restroom that needed to be cleaned. I didn’t even want to sit on the seat. The whole place needs to be disinfected. Not going back.

So the new policies are terrible, I genuinely needed a refund because my father didn’t see the movie. He left us at the door, we waited for him for 10 minutes. So we decided to go in to see the movie. We finished the movie, my father never went in. Long story, we had to take an Uber home. So when I tried to get the refund, they didn’t give it to me because it was after the movie! I emailed Marcus theaters and they told me about the policy change. We have been long time customers and we go every Tuesday. We won’t anymore. I didn’t even know there was a change in policy! They are a lot more strict! Plus your bag can’t be of a certain size! My mother and I don’t even bring a purse anymore. So if you can, go to another movie theater!

I've been to the Marcus Theatre, Orland Park twice in the past few weeks. Tickets were purchased on line by my friend. First time there, I bought popcorn and two sodas almost for $25 and then, I downsized and the cost was $20. What a rip-off. Went over to where one is to enter into the theatres and was told my purse was too large. There is a poster of a purse and you are to put your purse up to it and mine was determined too large - by about 1-1/2 ". I was told I could not bring the purse into the theatre. What to do? Go and put it into your car. It's raining outside. No one cares. What is the point of the "too large poster". It's policy you cannot bring in a purse larger than the poster's pic. Can I see a manager. He comes over and says, this is policy - my purse it too large. Too large for what? I'm still holding the large popcorn and soda. Do you want to check what's inside my "too large purse"? No we cannot do that. I take my cane and my "too large purse" and walk to her car to put the "too large purse" into my friend's car. Hope no one steals my purse.

Movie theater was very clean and comfy recliners. Not as freezing cold like other theaters, good sound level too! In addition to the refreshment stand, there is an actual pub of sorts with a big screen TV and other small TV's so you can watch or check in on the game.
The lounge serves beer and wine and some special drinks. The grill has burgers, chicken tenders and milkshakes!!

This theater has it all! Reclining seating, Variety of food options and a bar! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

NOT KID FRIENDLY! They would not let me toddler take her sippy cup of water inside. They told me she could get water from concessions. My toddler us not big enough to use a straw and cup very well, and promptly spilled it all over herself. It's completely unreasonable to not let small children bring in sippy cups with water when we are buying a ticket. I tried to call and talk to someone for a few hours, but they don't actually have anyone answer the phone. Go down the street to Emagine! It's cleaner, they actually answer the phone, and they care about parents and children.

I saw the comment about rodents from a year ago but no recent comments. I used to go often and I never had that problem. I pray I don’t because that’s disgusting!
