Very disappointing, have stopped in here for years when we are in town, love the place but it seems to be really going down hill maybe that’s why it wasn’t busy on a Saturday night 7 pm. Bartenders really didn’t really seem like they wanted to be there, and the place needs a good cleaning, Filthy every where, backs of seating, doors ,plants , bar etc. everything it’s real shame, we really like the old style decor have have stopped in for years

My wife and I stopped in about 6:00 pm for a quick drink before dinner last night. It was our first time in this establishment.
The female bartender acted very disconnected and lacked any hint of enthusiasm for her job.
We sat at the bar which did not appear to have been wiped clean in hours. It was just dirty.
The male bartender actually yawned and he too was completely disinterested in his work. He pants were not real clean and shirt quite wrinkled thus give off an very unkept vibe. Try harder dude.
Very disappointed in the experience and we will not be back. There are other good options in Peoria, so choose elsewhere.

Since the business has removed the review option on their Facebook page mine is no longer visible and my experience was so bad I believe it should be documented. The doorman followed me to the bathroom and waited in the otherwise empty foyer and proceeded to yell at me, not allowing me to speak. When I tried to speak he shouted over me. He demanded that I leave the premises immediately though I had no idea why. It was a weeknight, there was no cover, and I expected to show my ID at the bar as I had in the past. So I walked straight through and out to the foyer where the restroom was before I went to order a drink. This man claimed that he had told me to wait at the door and when I apologized and told him I had not heard he shouted "NO, You don't listen" repeatedly, along with other angry insults. He blocked the door as if I had any interest in going in at that point. He was threatening for no reason. I was alone, had not had a drink or spoken to anyone and he threatened to call the cops while I doing nothing more than stating I hadn't heard him. It was very scary and I left shaking and crying, which has never happened. When I returned another day to talk to management they claimed they had no way of knowing to whom I was referring and could do nothing in spite of the fact that it was a weeknight and there was only one person working the door. I described him and know for a fact that he has worked there for years though I hadn't interacted with him previously. She didn't seem to care and there was no follow-up.

I visit this place every time I come to town. It's built in an old train station and the interior maintains some of that history. I mostly just like the location, right on Water Street with a view of the River. Great variety of martinis available. I've seen it get pretty busy, but I have not been on the weekend.

Very cool bar on the river in an old train station. Been here several times and bartenders are always very good and the drink menu is huge. Never had a bad drink. This time we had a lemon drop and chocolate covered banana both were very good. Not very sweet at all. Sat outside in a nice afternoon. Would recommend stopping by for a drink.

This is a Martini bar. I've never been to one before. The reason why I had went here is because my wife and I were taking our daughter out for dinner in celebration of her getting her Master's Degree. We had a table at the resturant next door which we had to wait for. So we met at Martini's and had a drink. My son and I had ordered a Manhatten. I had never had that drink before, it was good I guess, but I would've rather had the Buffafo Trace whiskey by itself instead of the vermooth that was put into the drink to make it a Manhatten.
This place is not cheap. It is not your hole in the wall bar on the street corner. It is consiered a little upscale as it is sitting in the downtown business district of Peoria.
My wife had a virgin Mojito which was $4.00. I had ordered two Manhatten's (one for me and my son - my daughter and her boyfriend were already their with their drinks when we had arrived) at $9.00 each. Total bill was $22 without the tip.
Today's bartenders are fast becoming the new coffee barista's with the all the new fancy drinks and that are available now days. Some even put on show while they fix your special drink. No show here. One bartender was training a new hire.
The drink was alright I guess, but I didn't think it was worth the $9 price.
Will I come here again? Probably not.

Stopped here for a couple of drinks after the boat tour. It's located next to the Blue Duck restaurant in the old renovated train station. A must see with with the restored old decor and stained glass windows. The bar is large with plenty of places to sit around it. Seating outside has plenty of room also. We went late afternoon before dinner so it wasn't too crowded. Bartender was very welcoming and friendly. We didn't have a martini --- can't rate those. But there's an extensive variety of martinis offered.

We stopped in when we had a few minutes before an engagement. I’m so glad we did! While I ordered the special of the month, they have an extensive menu. I’d love to come back and try even more!

We came here on a quiet night, just a few people around, which made for quick service from Ashley the bartender that night.
We've been here a couple times before and really enjoy the ambiance of this old train station.
Their martinis are great and the prices are just right. They also have a good selection of beer and have my favourite beer Dogfish Head on draft!
We'll be back!

Nice place to have a group of friends together to socialize inside or out. Loving the atmosphere inside Martinis.
