The Deters in the Shopko parking lot is apparently closed for good. The good news is that the new Daylight Donuts at 18th and Broadway carry the ice cream year round now. The ice cream (or rather frozen custard, thus richer than the soft serves and the frozen yogurts usually available) is from a local dairy.

Deters closed in October and remain so until spring. Custard is good and they have frequent specials. Look for Shopko parking lot on Broadway. ......................
