Went here Friday for Hairbangers Ball. Staff were super busy and filled drink orders quick. Drink prices are very good. No matter where you are the view is great. Impressed and appreciated a lot of bathroom stalls. No wait and clean. I wish people would not spill drinks all over the floor which was so sticky down by the stage, like really bad.

We really enjoyed this venue and the acoustics of the place. Seems to be a good view no matter where you stand. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of stalls (because who wants to wait 20 minutes to use the bathroom). I did think that $17 for 2 domestic beers (one draft and one 16oz) was a little steep. Love how they had water readily available.

I was treated to some upfront and centre tickets for my birthday.
Yes the chairs are crammed in against each other, so you make friends with your row mates pretty quick.
I found the staff to be well presented and helpful. We were treated to drinks service and enjoyed the overall atmosphere.
What's unique about this small venue is the way its divided? There is no space wasted on back rows. You get a great view of the stage front right in front, the sides, upstairs and all with a well priced drink in your hand.

Stopped by after PBR for a “Hair Banging Ball” with Ratt Pakk. Pretty good band 80’s rock tribute band. Staff friendly, drink price normal for area ($9-12). Definitely go again. Supposedly country bar so this band was a little unusual. No food

Went for the first time for a NYE package deal - band, food and open bar ($85 general admission). The music was the right volume - could have a conversation with our friends without screaming! Food (from Bub City) was good. A little surprised the bar didn't open when doors opened (was a cash bar for the first hour) and the coat check fee of $5/coat was a surprise. Would like to go back again but definitely was spoiled by open bar so paying for drinks will be a shock (at $12/each for a mixed drink, they will add up quickly).

Based on previous reviews I’ve read about Joe’s Live, it was actually better than expected. They had security staff that were actually on top of things (even enforced the no-smoking code, which was a huge plus). They had servers who served the reserved tables and they were also impressively on top of things (I don’t know how they do it - in such a loud and crowded and chaotic place). Layout was nice, restrooms weren’t too far away (and for the amount of animals that were carelessly using them, were kept considerably clean - or as clean as possible, considering how people wrecked them).
The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, was 1) because I wish there was more seating available closer to the stage, and 2) because the bar ran out of mixed drinks fairly quickly, and a lot of people can’t drink hard, straight-up liquor.
Otherwise, it was a worthy experience.
And I give the staff and organizers at Joe’s two thumbs up!
The only reason I gave four stars instead of five, was 1) because I wish there was more seating available closer to the stage, and 2) because the bar ran out of mixed drinks fairly quickly, and a lot of people can’t drink hard, straight-up liquor.
Otherwise, it was a worthy experience.

Finally made it to Joe's Live. First time and got a VIP ticket-great idea. I was 10 feet from Randy!! The venue is awesome!

Joe"s is a great live music venue! You don't have to deal with the big crowds and fighting to get out of the parking lots like with other large venues. It makes it more personal and up close!!

Rosemont over all is a great town. Phenomenal restaurants, hotels, bars and clubs. Joe's live is no exception. Great venue. Excellent place to see live music and eat. Tons of places right in the same area to eat. This is a place you want to go to whenever you can...

Usually, there are high tables with chairs further back, but they’re expensive and tend to sell out pretty quickly.

Sorry just saw this post. The venue is pretty small but pit is mostly all standing but if you don' care and arrive early enough you can be right up to the front of the stage.
