I had the opportunity to check this out while visiting from out of town on a Saturday. Libraries are my happy place, and this one is stunning. It's bright and amazingly spaced out. I loved the wall of popular reads as you walked in. It is a huge facility but organized well. For as many people who must have been there based on the parking lot, it was quiet and peaceful. There is a cute and spacious children's room on the 2nd floor along with a teen space and general community space. I counted six employees at the main circulation desk as well as staff in every section. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I spent a glorious hour pulled up to the fireplace in the fiction section and read. It was such a wonderful way to start my day! I will definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Besides your traditional book and media offerings, The library offers meeting rooms, workshops, and talks by great resources. Great programming!

big library and lots to do a great computer room and staff always helpful.they have a really nice seperate reading room with a fireplace and on the second level are the computers and magazines. also they have seperate study rooms.

The library is huge, has lots of space to just hang out and read or use a laptop. Think of it as an enormous starbucks that does not play bad, loud music. They even have a coffee shop. Equally enjoyable for kids, seniors and everyone in between. Lots of parking.
There are many nice libraries in this area (Palatine, Des Plaines, Mt Prospect, Arlignton Hts) but this may be the best of all.

The library is excellent with an extensive collection of books, audio and visual media. The staff is helpful and the drive up window makes picking up holds very easy. The library also has a very good schedule of programs for all ages.

Less than a 10-minute of drive from our residence at TGM Park Meadows, Schaumburg village sits the large two storyed Schaumburg Township District Library. Its location is 130 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60193-1647.
very calm and quite ambiance. Well disciplined network. An eminent place to sit down and read-- whether you are a research scholar or a layman. There is a separate Kid's section on 1st floor.
All the staff are very friendly. With amiable disposition, they are always at your help. They try their level best to find the book you need.
All books have been cataloged and you can search thru their computers by yourself. If you don't like this, go straight to the librarians and they will extend their helpful assistance to locate your books and even personally go and search the bookshelves themselves to ferret out the desired titles.
The library boats of thousands of books from modern classics to wartime histories, from engineering to science, math, ....and what not.Hundred of thousands of books are there. You'll get books from National Geographic to Solar Energy Do-It-Yourself manuals! From Time-Life to Agatha Christie. And there is a rich store of DVDs.

Hands down The Best Library in 8 miles of the Schaumburg area. I just moved to Roselle and OMG! Tiny. I am SO Happy that I still have my Schaumburg card!

One of the best community libraries in the US. This a wonderful library and community resource center from the separate kid and teen areas, small meeting rooms, to the plthera of cultural and computer classes offered. The staff is very friendly 😊 and are themselves a great resource for questions. Spending the day studying, visit the cafe for a healthy bite and assortment of drinks. And if you still love books, check out the quarterly book sale.

Service is the key to a good library and Schaumburg Library certainly have that. Everyone is very helpful when answering questions and helping you find resources. Huge selection of material for all age groups. Like all the different programs offered.
