This course has been listed as one of the top ten Chicago area nine hole courses. Although there are a few par 4 holes, this is the place to leave your woods behind and perfect your long irons. In fact, right from the first tee, hitting a wood is likely to leave you wet or in a tough lie. A very reasonable place to spend an afternoon with a refreshing drink in the Tenth Hole afterwards.

Friendly golf staff who are always accommodating. Food selections limited and not much creativity. Tee times necessary. Many groups and sometimes slow play is a problem. Course condition is always great. Greens are well kept and fairways manicured.

This a nice little course that offers more challenges that you'd expect. Water in play on more than half the holes and some nice layouts. The highlight hole is a par-3, 30+ foot high raised tee box shooting over water. The course is almost always in good condition and, outside of weekends and holidays, usually a quick round. The clubhouse has everything you want - good beer on tap and good food. It's a nice, low-key place to take the family if you want to avoid restaurant crowds. There's a nice outside seating area off the clubhouse that overlooks the 9th hole.

This is a well laid out nine hole course offering deceptively difficult play. While heavy sluggers can pound their wood if they desire, this course rewards intelligent iron placements. Water hazards are a case in point drowning many an over played driver. The greens are well kept and the clubhouse kept well stocked. This may be the best nine holler in Chicagoland.

You can't beat the course for the price. My dad goes often and just loves it. Everyone does and I don't ever hear negative comments about it. The fireplace is so warm and cozy in the winter, been to Private parties there. I did the New Years Eve party there a couple of times, amazing. So close and don't have to worry about driving around with all the drunk drivers out. Only minutes from home. The little pro shop is nice as well. One of Vernon Hills best asset.

Very nice little 9 hole golf course. Just enough to get your itch in. Very nice grounds and not too expensive at all.

This course is half a regulation 18 hole course not the typical 9 hole executive type course. It is challenging and interesting with mature trees, a creek that comes in play on several holes and sand traps guarding some holes. One par 3 has a tee with stairs to the elevation and 4 sand traps.
The course manager is very friendly and accommodating.
All that and a good value as well.
