Stop by this morning. Chilly out for Florida boy. Looked liked a place I grew up. Built the same year too. Looked occupied so I didn't want to peer into the opened curtains. May never leave. Also didn't want to go to jail for peeping tom. Grill at back made me take notice. Did it now off my list.

I was not aware of the Lustron house but a friend knew about it and suggested we drive by. What a quirky house. I can't imagine how one would live in it but it was an interesting bit of history to see. I don't know if tours are ever given but you can get the general idea of the material and architecture just by parking out front for a bit.

The house is simple to find in Chesterton. If it had not been a holiday weekend, I would have tried to contact the owner for a tour of the inside. As it was, we just parked on the street and looked at the exterior.
