The autumn is an excellent time to visit Farmer's Markets.

I purchased 3 ears of Fresh corn that are (were) just outstanding:now be aware
that the market closes after Halloween, so if you are planning a trip, try to go
from May to October. The display of pumpkins, squash and other produce is
fabulous, but i was traveling and could only buy corn (which by the way you
can shuck over a trash can and eat right out of hand if it is as FRESH as it
is at Hackman's.

It's a great little farmers stand Right on the main road, the family was more than friendly and helpful. Lots of good produce and goods.

I cannot say enough good things about Hackman's. Each year they add a little bit to their farm stand operation. Their produce is top notch. Several times workers have went out to the fields to get me something they are out of at the moment. Their greenhouse flowers and vegetables plants outstanding. I am hoping they expand the greenhouses. Staff is the most genuine and friendly people around. Great family atmosphere.

My favorite farmer's market in the area. Great family owns it, extremely personable and helpful-even the teenage employees! Produce is always fresh and clean. I've had employees offer to go out into the field to get produce when the stand itself was out. They have been expanding their greenhouse. While the selection of flowers is still limited they have added more each year and what they have is extremely healthy. I bought all my annuals here this year. Wonderful seasonal selections! Cannot say enough good things about Hackman's Farm Market!
