The ballgame experience was outstanding! So much fun between the innings, as well. Can't wait to go again.
There had been a police shooting the night before, so when we got to the restaurant, there were picketers' vehicles taking up a good majority of the parking area. I felt a little hesitant having to walk past them twice.

Our hotel as well as 3 others have entrances to get into the park. They were not playing the day we were there but the park is beautiful. I come from Chicago and have never seen a minor league game but I'm sure they are wonderful

The box office ruined our family night... I had a terrible experience last night. I bought tickets from a 3rd part website and they released the tickets to me, but at will call, they could not give me the tickets because they didn't show they were in my name. I verified the seats and they showed purchased, but the staff would not give me the tickets. I stood outside and missed 2 innings and then had to purchase 5 more tickets just so I could go in and sit in the seats that I had previously purchased right behind the plate. Nobody would help me. There wasn't even ANYONE around and most seats were empty. So The TinCap Staff took another $35 from me, just to allow me to go in and sit in the seats that I had already purchased. There has to be a better way, TinCap staff! It's a small town. Maybe try to verify what people are saying is true. When they saw the seats I told them about matched the seats that showed purchased in the system (and no other seats around them) it would seem pretty simple. But no... just ruin 3 kids' night by making them all wait 2 innings until we purchased more seats... that seems rational. Even the "manager" wasn't rational. The stands were empty! Use some management discretion! If you can't do the job, let someone do that job that can handle it. Instead of just telling me I got scammed (not true), just try to help people! There was a problem with the 3rd party and they did get it sorted out and I got my tickets near the end of the game... Worst experience ever with the TinCaps.

Great evening RUINED because of the parking garage. Took OVER AN HOUR to get out because they insisted on scanning tickets on the way out EVEN THOUGH YOU HAD TO PAY TO GET IN. We were literally TRAPPED with two young kids in the car. Kids with bathroom needs. Never again!!! Boooo!!!!!

I realize help is hard to find but the concessions were just terrible. Popcorn so salty we had to take it back. WAY too salty to eat. Then between games of a double header (30 minute break) they were all out of apple tarts. They didn’t put a new batch in until they sold the last one (at the break - when everyone is up buying concessions). Horrible planning. They said it would be 15 minutes until the batch was done. 30 minutes later - the 2nd game had started - and they say 5 more minutes. We’re not waiting any longer because they obviously have no idea how long the batch would take. I saw 6 customers come up and leave during that time. Just awful service.

I've been to Parkview more times than I can count, and each time great fun. The seats are good, the crowds enthusiastic, the "shows" in between visits are fun - food is expensive but the whole place is great.

Fun place in the heart of the city. If you can catch the team in action, it’s a great family night out for some all American fun.

What a fun experience. The game was rained out but the game was rescheduled the next night as a double header. Our tickets were easily exchanged for that night. Fireworks were just awesome!!

This ballpark is very nice. We had 10 in our party watching the local single A minor league team of the San Diego Padres. Great entertainment between innings. Great concessions.

As the others here have said, all of the fixed seats in the ballpark have backs and cupholders. There are some picnic tables in right field that do not have backs on them and, obviously, the Lawn seats do not have backs on them. But we do not have any bleacher seats at Parkview Field, so you won't have to worry about that. We'll see you out at the ballpark!

Are there times that the vendors are open and making food other than when there is a game or large event? Pretty much I'm wondering if I can get vendor food sometime without having to buy a ticket...

The vendors are only open when there is a game but there is a restaurant/bar right on the walkway around the upper north side of the field called O'Reilly's that is open all the time and they have seating outside facing the ballpark. Great food and decent prices
