Stopped in with my Sister to see this one room railroad museum - which is absolutely spectacular! So much to see/learn about - ask the owner for some interesting info on the objects. And yes...you can get some ice cream/candy in the same depot! Very cool little historical place!

We always like to stop here when we are visiting Franklin. They have a nice assortment of candy and lots of different types of root beer and soda.

I really like what this family has done with the railroad depot. A very small room dedicated to railroad memorabilia and 2 rooms dedicated to candy and ice cream! They offer generous portions of ice cream and have about every kind of candy you can imagine. And they don’t gouge you on the price! Very reasonable. I’ll be back.

We found this gem when we went to the Franklin farmers market and the owners were so sweet and gave us a lot of history in downtown loved the shop wish we had it in our town! Great ice cream and even have a really old fashion sweets! The owner is always happy👍

The ice cream is amazing on a summer day and only a few blocks from downtown Franklin. Its just a few minutes walk from just about anywhere downtown Franklin. The candy/chocolates are delicious and really cheap. We stopped one summer afternoon and spend $10 and got ice cream for two and 12 chocolate truffles with a bottle of water. Its our favorite little shop to visit and get a sweet treat.

RR history abounds in this historic train depot. The ice cream is awesome! They also have a huge candy selection. Great chocolates and old fashioned candy from the past!

I don't care how old you are there is something about candy and ice cream that brings out the kid in you. This was a first time visit and one we are so glad we made. The depot is nostalgic as is some of the old time candy and sodas. We got our monies worth. I found my superman ice cream that I love and is hard to find back home and my fiance went with sherbet, both of us were pleased with the quality and of course I couldn't leave without buying some candy. The people who waited on us were super friendly and everyone we encountered was smiling and kind. The establishment was well kept and clean. Limited seating inside but plenty outside. Very neat little place with A+ ice cream, every customer that came in during our visit was saying the same thing... This is so good!!! I have family in a nearby town and upon visiting them after my trip to the Hoosier Cupboard they've decided to check it out. Guess this place switched locations to the current place next to the tracks. My family had heard of it but never visited, since they have kids I insisted on it being a must. It's just too good not to. Please note the display cabinets are vintage so I hope everyone honors the signage and won't lean on them as I seen one lady doing during my visit. If I'm ever in the area again I will defiantly be stopping here again. We got both our ice creams and candy $5 and it was more than enough ice cream to satisfy.

This is absolutely our favorite ice cream place in town. You get HUGE scoops of great flavors. (Elephant ear is our family favorite) There is some limited outdoor seating options.
