We spent a long time here - reading everything. Not only were we able to view artwork made by individuals of the First Nations but there was an extensive exhibition of artwork about individuals of the First Nations. It is a must ..... it opened our eyes to viewing these amazing individuals in a completely different prespective.

Excellent place to visit. Unique pieces of art and a lot of learning material. We had a wonderful time.well organized and very interactive for all ages.

The collection is outstanding, combining a superb group of paintings, sculptures and material culture from Native Americans to great art by Western artists. It is very easy to travel through the museum, which is dominated by several grand galleries. The museum's grounds are beautiful as well, with small gardens leading to the canal park. This museum is not to be missed!

What a beautiful museum - enough to enjoy and be introduced. Security people were helpful and friendly. Interactive screens helped explain some of the items. A good cross section. Visit the museum store, too.

We have long wanted to go and glad we did. It was a surprise that there is so much space but not more visitors. It was well-divided with plenty of space to wander. Our favorite was the 1st floor with the Remington sculptures and old paintings. The religion exhibit was very educational, as was the upper level containing the Native American exhibits. Was glad to have visited.

Am impressive art collection, with a lot of history woven into and on display.
The art display is split over two floors and there is a family experience center in the basement with a totem pole and a stagecoach.
The is also a cafe.
Highly recommend a guided tour. It was free and hosted by Ina, a musuem volunteer, who increased the experience tenfold. Her questions to make us ponder and reflect and a fountain of additional knowledge shared with us, made the visit very memorable.

This was a wonderful museum. My family enjoyed it very much. We also enjoyed the gift shop very much, too. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful museum. Small but full of great artwork, paintings, bronze castings and modern artists. A lot of great western artwork from the mid 1800's. Along with modern art and art from native Americans.

It’s a small collection but a very nice break from the convention we attended. Even if you take your time 90 minutes would be plenty of time. Very clean and peaceful. Friendly staff.

The Jingle Rails exhibit typically opens about a week before Thanksgiving and runs through mid-January.

Is there a place in the museum for us to eat a packed lunch? We're on a tight budget and the Cafe is too pricey for us. We've always packed lunches for the Children's museum, but have never been to Eiteljorg. Thanks in advance!!

I would probably try just sitting on the coaches outside of the cafe. I agree about the prices. This is disappointing.

I will be staying at the Maldron Hotel this coming week. Does your hotel have plug in outlets for U. S. or do I need to buy a European plug in for my phone and camera battery charges?
