A great place for family and visitors to the area
The maze was fun although challenging at times!
But we got in and out!
Staff and very friendly
Extra things to do there- outdoor games, giant chess and checkers or explore the creek area

This is a great place to visit. I wandered around the gardens and my husband visited the maze. We had a lovely meal in the outside area. Inside was very spacious.

We enjoyed a stop at Brookfield Maze. A walk around the maze followed by lunch at the cafe. We also wandered around the garden.
We made it to the centre of the maze and found all of the hidden clues along the way.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch followed by a stroll around the beautiful gardens and attempted (unsuccessfully) to navigate our way to the centre of the maze. Maybe we’ll make it to the middle next time, however, all that activity meant we could then indulge in a Devonshire tea.
This is a lovely way to spend some time and I would recommend it for couples and families. There are lots of activities for all ages.

My partner and I booked the guesthouse for a long weekend. The guesthouse was beautiful, the fireplace stacked with wood ready for us to start, complimentary biscuits to have with my tea and an absolutely stunning garden.
We stopped next door at the cafe and maze for some scones (delicious) and a walk around the gardens and maze.
Thank you to Jeff and Eryl for making us feel at home - we hope to stay again soon.

We just had a great afternoon at the Brookfield Maze. We all loved the maze, was so much fun! We had drinks in the cafe, food looked good and was all made on site. We then spent time on the amazing grounds, played the large bocce, chess and checkers games and a lovely walk around the grounds, which you can make your way to the river. great family day out or still great for any ages and groups. The owners were lovely and very welcoming.

What a shame about this place, which has a potentially lovely verandah to dine on, but unless one pays to see the maze, the only outside table is behind a fence, in the entrance driveway.
Limited menu, coffee and cake quite good.
But the ambience is totally absent, so the great potential here will never be realised.
Lighten up man! Get rid of the fences! Understand not everyone is interested to see the maze, and, you could be making a lot more income if the cafe was liberated from this restrictive control.
I can’t imagine wanting to return here. I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

I took some interstate visitors around the State of Victoria recently and one of the places we stayed at was the accommodation at Brookefield Maze.which I chose by googling places to stay in the area, near Whitfield. From the first telephone enquiry through to our checkout, the process and services was excellent and on point.
The home was beautiful inside, had all the creature comforts of home and was very spacious and very clean. Our host Eryl was just lovely and very happy to assist with any enquiries we had. We were delighted by beautiful gardens surrounding the property and even thought the maze wasn't open to the public, we were allowed to have a look through and with the help of our host, we got to the middle and looked around up from the stand inside. It is a credit to them what they have built. the lovely babbling creek running behind the property was accessible. the indoor and outdoor games were great. There was simply nothing not to like about this property. Beautiful quiet location and we wished we had more than one night to stay. The welcome packet of shortbread was enjoyable and appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home. Well priced and well equipped. We received far more than we were expecting which was a lovely surprise.

we recently visited the Brookfield Maze, it was amazing, beautiful gardens, great time in the maze with the grandchildren. food looked great, and the coffee was good. great outing for the family

We went to see the maze itself, which was fantastic (we got soooo lost in it!), but were surprised by how much else there was. Beautiful grounds, activities for kids, and we sat outside with a nice iced coffee looking at the flowers. I understand they have a lot of weddings there, which is probably why the gardens are so well-kept. Signage is good, but a tip might be to provide a map of the maze itself for those who aren't sure about getting lost!
Well done to the owners - we thought to drop by for something to do, but could easily have spent half a day here. The accommodation looked excellent in the brochure too, and is something we might well consider in the future for a weekend away.
