Great company w friendly workers. We left on time and the equipment was well used but we'll cared for. Wld definitely recommend!

This is my second time to take the Rusty Oar trip. It was fun, relaxing, and a great way to burn calories while enjoying Indiana's natural beauty. Everyone I came in contact with were happy to see us and to make our experience as wonderful as can be. It was best with water shoes. Our bus driver was great too.

We were a group of 17 adults and had a fantastic tubing trip. Everyone was very helpful and friendly during the check-in process and bus ride. Had such a great time we will definitely do it again!

There is no number to call, no person to speak with if you have questions, but they will take your money online. Have canoed many times, but never had to pay up front. Could not find the location (again, no phone). Communicated via website chat that we were having trouble finding them. When we arrived, they said they'd have to put us on a much shorter trip. We weren't interested in that and asked for a refund. Was told by attendant that the Owner was the sole decision maker over refunds. Have corresponded via email MANY times and he will not refund my money. White River Canoe Company is out nothing, provided nothing, but kept my $56. Would not recommend at all.

See photo. I’ve never been treated so poorly in my entire life or watched a friend be treated like such trash. We’ve come here for so many years and referred so many people and yesterday we were literally harassed and heckled by an employee. Also - after many years as loyal customers, yesterday was the first time the tubes were nasty. NASTY. The cooler tube was full of mud. If our friend couldn’t come onsite due to waiver reasons or whatever that could have been fairly stated. Instead this angry jerk immediately led with threatening arrest. Like the police don’t have anything better to do.

White River Canoe Company has the worst customer service. I corresponded with the “owner” today over email and was in awe of their unprofessionalism and attitude towards me.
I went tube floating yesterday with a group of seven people. Amongst our group, we paid for two cooler tubes, which are a whopping $30 each. After our 15-minute shuttle to the starting point, my husband and I were one of roughly four groups/couples to not receive the cooler tubes we paid for. The truck driver that brought over the tubes and the other staff member with him told us that they accidentally brought the wrong truck of tubes and that’s why there weren’t enough. They owned up to the mistake, apologized and told us we would need to wait 15 minutes for them to go pick up more cooler tubes. But it would have certainly been more than 15 minutes, as a trip one-way to their facility is 15 minutes. So, it would have at least taken 30 minutes. We did not have the time available to wait that long, so we decided to cram our big cooler onto our friends’ cooler tube. This wouldn’t be a big deal had we not paid $30 for a cooler tube that we never received! Upon returning from our tubing trip, I spoke to a very kind staff member about our negative experience. She apologized and said she would try to get us our $30 refunded but had to get the green light from her manager. I emailed them first thing this morning to follow up on the refund and dealt with the most unprofessional person who claimed to be the “owner” but they never gave me their name after I asked for it twice. The person I corresponded with over email said there were “plenty” of cooler tubes available and would need to review our complaint with their staff and footage on site, and would get back to us in a few days. There is no way they truly investigated our complaint because within 15 minutes, I received another email from them saying they would not be issuing a refund for the cooler tube and they essentially called us liars. They said, “We were able to poke several holes in your story and it did not line up with our staffs statements.” We have been customers of White River Canoe Company for several years. I made it clear to them that I would be submitting reviews based on our negative experience and that we would not be returning customers and their response was, “Perfect! Thank you!” How immature and unprofessional.
I would steer clear of this company and purchase your own gear to enjoy the White River versus using their services.

The Trip was a great experience however with very little current trip took 5 hours instead of 3…recommend shorter vision

My first visit and hopefully not the last. We only reserved the 1 mile but I would love to float down for the "full day". Everyone was so friendly, chillaxed, families, friends of all ages. Loved watching the younger generation splash and play in the water. For the the time we spent including arrival, the bus ride (our bus driver was a hoot!), the float down the river with great folks, + free live entertainment for the price... Can't beat it! Thank You for providing such wonderful hospitality!

I booked a tubing trip with 6 people. On the day we were to depart, a severe thunderstorm hit Hamilton County and Noblesville, where Potter's Bridge is. I reached out to White River Canoe Company to see if they were going to push back our departure date or give us a waiver to reschedule. They denied that there was a Thunderstorm Watch in the county, and refused to reschedule, delay or refund our services. We were so much looking forward to this trip, so it definitely sucked to not only not get to go, but be down $200+ cause they were not open to rescheduling when our safety was threatened.

I don't think so but either way you will never get your money back.......only rain checks even if its not raining. If you live out of state you are out of your money. I would never use this company....
