Staff being very strict with covid rules. Made us all feel safe. Staff took details for track and trace, staff wore masks throughout, staff on the ball with table service even though its not what they are used to.
Much better than all other Blantyre establishments. It's sad all hospitality is being shut when places like this are being so safe!

This is a great place to visit for a drink with some friends. We go there on Saturday to have a chat with some old friends. The place is quite most of the time. No background music but it has a lovely feeling just to talk with friends. Staff are always nice and chaty. Thursday is quiz night and you can get a good laugh.

A lovely place to pop into after a walk. If you want a nice place for a quiz night on a Thursday this is the place to go. Most nights it is nice and cosy for a drink with a friend. They don't sell food but they make up for it with friends staff.

My partners was getting her hair done down the road so thought I’d pop in while I wait and have coffee or a soft drink. After parking in the customer car park I was approached by the elderly owner/manager ranting and raving that I couldn’t park in the “customer” car park. I explained I was a customer but he was being ignorant and abusive so I headed to the parkville instead. No wonder the place was empty.

We had a lovely afternoon in here after we had a lovely meal. Kate was lovely and friendly as she always is. It was nice and cosy sitting on the sofa in the corner. There is entertainment once a month so if you want a good night out it would be nice to try the place out.

Have visited this pub on several occasions when I visit family living nearby. It is such a welcoming pub, the staff are very friendly as are the customers and the quiz on a Thursday is one of the very best around. Pity I can't get back till March but I'll definitely be there then!

I have overlooked doing this but I visited the Doon Inn in January when visiting from Canada. Would I go there again you bet your sweet bippy. Great atmosphere chatty group and such a great night with family & friends. left happy had a few and used a cab(taxi)

Lovely friendly family run pub. Very welcoming with plenty of room and adequate seating. Decent selection of beers, wines and spirits. Good big screen for live football.

Went in for a couple of drinks after a disappointing bite to eat nearby - had a great night!!
Staff were considerate and after one visit to the bar were able to remember what had been ordered before - this was a Friday night in an establishment that has a local reputation as a 'busy wee shop'
Good service, good atmosphere, good company and good music - both from the background music and the band that set up and entertained!!
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend!!
