Nice open play environment for young children. Granddaughters age 4 and 10 really enjoyed all of the interactive play areas and the arts and craft area on the 2nd floor.

My grandchildren beg to come to the museum! We try and visit twice a year. Lots of interactive play for little imaginations. Recommend ages 2-9.
Staff is friendly and helpful though this visit the art/craft room the attendants were not so attentive as they were engrossed in their drawings. (A young child was wandering the room unattended for quite some time- no shoes and burnt his finger on the glue gun)
Worth the $ on a rainy/cold or hot day!

I brought my 7,8 and 9 y/o grandchildren to the "museum". There was very little museum, mostly things to play with and on. The 8 and 9 year olds were borderline too old. I wouldn't say that any of them learned anything.

This was an unexpected surprise! It's a great place for kids to burn off some creative steam! The Family Museum is an interactive play-house (as my son - 5yrs - called it). They have a kids play- shopping, vet clinic, pizza shop, interactive water table, and other 'shops'. However the highlight was the large craft room!
The staff was amazingly nice and interactive. You can make, paint and build. It was incredible.

When we have the grandkids we always love going to the family museum we spend hours there. There is so much to do for the price, its one of the best kid friendly museums in our area!

This facility probably violated the fire code when it hosted the New Year's Eve party as there were wall-to-wall people in that building. It was too hectic for our one Year olds to be walking around and actually have access to toys and activities because the bigger kids were rushing in-and-out even faster. I would be resistant to return for a party here, it's to busy.

This is the place to go! TONS of things to see and do. Almost all hands on. Inside and outside. This is the place to take young children.

Took our grandson here earlier this year and were pleasantly surprised how nice it is. We definitely recommend visiting it.

4 and 5 yr old girls, both absolutely love it. We all had a good time and the activities on the 2nd floor are great. The guy who runs the clay and art center is fantastic!

My wife and I have been there a number of times with grandchildren. Most recently there was a day focusing on comics and comic book characters. Three young women were dressed as super heroes and there was an appearance by a TV cartoon character: the kids there were pumped. Highlights of "permanent" exhibits include a construction area where you can help a child construct an object such as an airplane. Always popular are a group of connected water pools inside and outside (during summer). I'm not sure why but a lot of kids are attracted to the little store with merchandise such as veggies, fruit, dry goods, etc. Kids ,can 'harvest' items outside, restock, checkout, etc. Overall something for a wide variety of childhood preferences.

I do not believe that they have food either. I've been there a few times and we have never noticed it if they did! However, they have a wonderful outdoor area and you can bring a picnic lunch with you.
