The chocolates are incredibly delicious. The best part was that we did a hands-on tour and made our own chocolates. The owner explained many processes and guided us in creating our own flower chocolates. It was a wonderful and fun experience. The owner is awesome and the samples were delicious!

See my review from 2 years ago. This store has not changed. It has a good selection of chocolates and you can mix and match truffles.

This is really great! Very good high quality chocolate. Smooth, not grainy like so many places. If you are looking for a real treat, and not just some plain chocolate, this is the place to go!

This is not a huge store so there's not a huge selection, but everything is very tempting. Several of the truffles have alcohol in them and you can create your own selection box. The ones we tasted so far were terrific.
There is also gelato in a freezer.

Disappointed they didn’t have any chocolate covered bacon. But every other option was decadent! Beautiful small shop with a lot of chocolate choices. Everything is home made. I visit often. Randall is wonderful. She cares and attends to her customers.

My wife and I stopped in while in Iowa to see grandkids. Purchased a variety box as well as a cluster for each of us. My wife, who is not prone to over complimenting, said the caramel inside was incredible. Not too sweet and the perfect consistency. After sampling a few of the chocolates, she indicated she really believed it was the best chocolates she had ever eaten. I would simply say they were darn good. I don't know if they ship, but probably better for pocketbook and weight if they don't. Will be a stop on our next trip to Iowa. Prices were very reasonable.

Disappointed they didn’t have any chocolate covered bacon. But the chocolate glitter gun was spectacular. I had several chocolates from the case. One was better than the next.

I never made it in for the gelato as I had hoped, but I did stop by for some chocolates before we left town. I had a sample of the toffee that was offered and ended up buying some. I’ll have to return another time for the gelato, it looked delicious!

We celebrated 3 birthdays with a tour, tasting and creative chocolate tulip making/pizza making party! Highly recommend. book ahead to create your own tour and tasting!

Your family was a pleasure to have in- and thank you for your patience with me during my first "on my own" tour. My Mom will be happy to read this review. Do you happen to offer what I know as a “date night” program?? We had them in Orlando where couples could come, have a chocolate tasting, make a pound of their own chocolate and (I don’t drink) but others had a glass of wine while doing it?? It was a nice “light” date night.

Suellen, I have not offered a "date night" program in the past but I think it's a great idea and I would be happy to arrange it for you. We currently offer something very similar which we call the "Hands On" tour. During this tour I would chat with you about chocolate, you would sample some of my most popular confections and then I would take you to my kitchen where you would make something with chocolate that you could take home with you. This tour usually takes an hour and the price depends on how many guests attend the tour. I think after a few adjustments to my "Hands On" tour and some wine or champagne I can offer this as a new option. Thank you for starting date night at Chocolate Manor!

Great question! Although we make many varieties of confections without peanuts or tree nuts we do use both peanuts and tree nuts in our kitchen. Due to the potential severity of nut allergies, we do not recommend our chocolates to be consumed by anyone with nut allergies. Thanks for the question Olivia F. To answer your question in short, yes, Chocolate Manor is reasonably priced for gourmet chocolates. Most of our handcrafted chocolates, such as our creams, toffees, and caramels, are priced at $26.95 per pound which averages to about 80 cents per piece. Our truffles are priced per piece and range from $1.50 to $2.50. Hope this answers your question, please feel free to contact us with any other questions.
