Couldn't fully enjoy the family outing since the park rangers decided to nitpick about every little thing. Tons of families outside enjoying themselves, but since we were the only family of color, they needed to breathe down our necks every five minutes on some petty mess.

Take a drive to this beauty of a county park. You might see deer. Walk the trails. Enjoy nature. Have a picnic. Swim in the pool. Play at the playgrounds. It is lovely in the fall with the changing colors. It is a good place to visit in any season. There are campgrounds, golf course, pioneer village. I recommend a visit to Scott County Park. It is well maintained for your enjoyment.

This was by far the worst experience my family and I have ever had! The rangers stalk you and monitor your every move. They make threats to arrest you as the "roads" through the park are similar to city roads. They do not allow any family, good fun. We were threatened for turning our truck/ camper around on poorly manicured grass to park out camper. We were threatened because of our bag boards being on level ground which happened to be slightly on the road ( literally by 1 foot). The rangers were condescending, arrogant and literally followed us. We made NO trouble, we were not loud. We caused zero issues, yet we would not do anything right. Oh we couldn't have lights on a tree for our KIDS to see while playing either.

Our stay here was pretty good! We arrived here to attend a wedding in Long Grove. I say this because of the curfew the park puts on you with no cooperation from the park rangers. We had to be in the park by 1030, otherwise, we were locked out. That actually happened one night and we had to go and get a hotel room. So, we were limited to the time we had with friends and family during said wedding. Other than that, the park is very well maintained and clean. It is a first come first serve basis to park your rig. Close to Eldridge and Davenport, with many restaurants and shopping. A must is Cabo Mexican food!

My favorite local park. Wildlife, trails, picnic and camping. Beautiful just driving through especially in the fall.

We like to camp out here, they have very nice camp grounds, nice hiking trails fun for all of the family. During the summer they have a nice public pool to swim. There are nice places for picnics, family get together, they also have a nice golf course.

Scott County Park has many things for the whole family: swimming pool, fishing, hiking, playgrounds, camping (both tent and camper) and Pioneer Village. Pioneer Village has an old church, school, blacksmith shop and more to explore with the kids.

This is an awesome RV park, we enjoyed ourselves here and would tell anyone to go here. The workers and the rangers is all super wonderful in the park. We feel that it would be hard to find a better park to camp at. All the campers in the park is very friendly also. Thumbs up for here.

We went to catch up with friends that were camping there. We had a great visit and no hassles from the rangers as in the past times we had camped there. Inquired about camping and found out that they raised prices yet again and still don't take reservations. Haven't camped there for over a year and no plans to go yet this year.

Nice Trees in the section we were in-lots of picnic areas and trails to walk. They have 2 square miles of land used for these. There is also a very nice Pioneer Village on the grounds that you can tour yourself for just $2 for adults. Very quiet-lots were big and before Labor Day, they have a great pool area with splash pad, large water slide into the pool,etc. Everything was very clean and mowed and they must spray as we didn't have a bug problem either. We even stayed an extra day more than we had planned.
