Talk about options!!! You can taste as many flavors as you want. They are staffed well, possibly every high schooler in town. Self guided tour with great ice cream options.

Ice cream capital of the World was a great pit stop (in the middle of nowhere) on our way from Minnesota to Omaha. Le Mars has a cute downtown. We grabbed an ice cream cone, enjoyed it, and stretched our legs. In the grand scheme of things, it is nothing overly special but for kids it is a fun stop.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stop. Cute decor. Upstairs are some interactive exhibits that children (and adults) will enjoy. Saw a short video showing how some of ice cream novelties are made...interesting. The little theater about the history was not running the day we were there. Of course....there was an ice cream counter to get your favorite ice cream. Generous servings! Would love to go back again.

We were pleasantly surprised stopping here. What an awesome little museum of history about Blue Bunny Ice cream. We loved spending time here and getting ice cream. This is a 5 star attraction and a must stop.

I love that this is still a family business after 100+ years and that they’ve kept it in the original location. A few fun interactive games upstairs and the Wells family film is actually really informative (who knew LeMars had polo and fox hunts in the late 1800s!). Of course ice cream is out of this world.

Too bad a lot of it was closed due to pandemic. How ever, we could sample some fresh large cones and sundaes.

It's always an experience stopping by the ice cream parlor! There is so much "neatness" to take in while walking through the building while enjoying an ice cream treat!
The upstairs offers history of Blue Bunny and interactive stations for kids. It's truly a great place to check out!

Of course Blue Bunny Ice Cream is great!! but I really did expect to have more flavor choices than I get in an average ice cream shop! This is their home!!! I've had more choices at home-made ice cream shops when we visited Maine!!

Get a cone, a dish, or have a pint of ice cream packed to take out. This is the Blue Bunny ice cream parlor extraordinaire, with tons of flavors to choose from and great ambiance if you eat inside. Fun photo op outside next to a giant cone on the sidewalk. The butter pecan and huckleberry were super good on our most recent visit.

This was a very popular place! They serve ice cream (many varieties!) with plenty of seating and there is a gift shop on the ground level. Upstairs there is a play area for children and a theater with a short film about the origins of Blue Bunny. Our walking group stopped here as part of a city walk through Le Mars. Our ice cream was delicious!
