Visited near closing time but it did not take long to go through the nature center. There isn’t much in there. We walked the river trail which was pleasant as it is paved. There were many other trails we could not do because it was late. It seems like it would be a nice place to hike in. Maybe next time.

We had a very enjoyable morning in search of colorful leaves on the trails of the Nature Center. Although we didn't find very many colored leaves (looked like many had already fallen in the winds of the last few days), we still had a great time hiking the trails. We pretty much stayed on the outside trails and thoroughly enjoyed the difference on each one. The trail around the quarry was specially fun! We were also very impressed at the displays in the Nature Center. Be sure to head upstairs to see all the birds and animals. We didn't see any critters on our hike, but I'm sure they are out there. The only reason we didn't rate the park Excellent is because there could be more trail signs. So many off shoots that aren't marked or on the map, so it was a little bit confusing at times.

We didn't get to spend much time as we would have liked, so we plan on going back again sometime to get the full experience! Really great place for a hike!

The trails were nice and fun. I learned about an old brewery, vines, saw a cliff and there were painted rocks to find and hide.

We were in town to visit family. There’s not much here in the way of tourist attractions. We wanted someplace we could take our 2 year old to run off some steam. The nature center was very child friendly with plenty of stuff for little hands to touch. We also walked some of the trails near the center. Very nice way to spend a couple of hours entertaining small children.

This is a pretty cool place. No cost but can donate. Lots of cool things for kids to look at. I enjoyed the birdhouses and the indoor beehive!! :)

I was so impressed by displays inside visitor center. Very kid (of all ages) friendly. The mounted birds overhead showed size and colors well. The library was great. I especially loved the native
plant mural showing the depth of roots. The hiking trails were most inviting, but did not have bug proof clothing on. Prairie was beautiful. Great work going on here!

Like Creek Nature Center and trails can be fun for family or just by yourself. There are a couple different types of trails you can hike, bike or jog on. These trails run along the Winnebago River. There is also a nature center where you can take your children in and learn about the wild life in Cerro Gordo County.

I attended a 5-mile race to benefit Lime Creek today. Very friendly crew, nice shirt. And I got a 5-mile tour of the park and spent quite a bit of time in the building which has many exhibits both animal and plant.

This center has a variety of trails from paved to grass (just watch out for the snakes in the grass). We enjoyed walking around the area and were pleasantly surprised by the butterfly garden and the incredible view of numerous birds feasting on the feeders outside the glassed-in rear side of the center. They have comfy chairs and staff who can point out the lesser-known species to the less-astute observers. We could have spent hours there! The center also has an educational component that was very nicely done; would be great for kids to learn about nature in a fun and beautiful setting.
