It was in a older movie Picnic. Lots of history. From there go to the train depot museum. It's a hidden gem. I met a Harvey girl Helen she is great to talk with. Also there are many exhibits of all kinds. I had a wonderful time there. WW1 exhibits, lots of the Santa Fe train and tons of Harvey girl memorabilia . Lots of info on the movie, even the swan boat from the movie , orig script and many more surprises. Go and enjoy

Did a splendid job. It looks magnificent and well worth a visit. Synthetic boards are nice and stable.

This bridge spans the Little Arkansas River in Riverside park on the north side of Halstead. It is a suspension bridge that is not very steady and has a lot of movement as you walk across. Somewhat similar to the Wobbly Bridge in York, Maine. NOt as much swing as the suspension bridge on Tom Sawyer's Island in Disneyland, but fun to make it shake more.
