Not crowded, knowledgeable staff, quality merchandise. The museum area filled with dioramas is cool, too.

Nice sized store. I personally don't have a reason to shop here. Followed my husband, his dad, and his best friend to the store to see the waterfall and aquarium. Waterfall wasn't turned on.

Cabela's card member since '99. Four store openings. Kansas City, KS Cabela's has become a disappointment the last couple of years. This year is the worst. The store looked worse then the remnants of a Black Friday sale. The cashier forgot to include a discount she told us about. When I mentioned it she said "What difference does it make. It's not costing you anything." I was using some of my Cabela's points. We had to go to the 'customer service' area and wait in line to correct the missing discount. Two more times she told me "It's not costing you anything." Cabela's used to have signs hanging up that said 'Legendary Service'. Those days are gone.

There’s a lot to look at here, and the kids loved it. When we went, Santa was visiting as well. So, we received a free photo with Santa. The staff was kind and helpful.

This was our first time visiting Cabela's and were there to scope out Black Friday Deals early and visit Santa. We typically go to it's sister store Bass Pro so walking in we were a little underwhelmed. It is a nice store but just not as elaborate as what we are use too.
The Santa Visit was EXTREMELY easy to set up and check in. We really had no waiting at all. The staff there was very friendly.
Our kids loved the Mule Deer Exhibit and Fish.
I would say that our only negative was a certain section we were looking in, we asked a question and they just laughed at us. We understood they would probably be out but we didn't know if/when they get their shipments... the response was a bit irritating.

I occasionally go to Cabela's for outdoor supplies, but the best part of the store is the fanstastic dioramas that the have. I do not know if all the stores have them, but the KCK store does. They are museum quality.

Cabela’s is always a great place to walk around and see new stuff they have. There fishing and firearms section is always up to date with new stuff and selection. Every time I’m by there I always stop in and walk around for awhile! I usually come home with something new lol.

What was once a top notch customer experience sadly has degraded into just a meh one. They have lots of products, most of which are over priced for the quality.

this place is very racist and treat people of color very poor and rude I would not ever buy anything from them they have they talk to you like you are dumb and stupid they just have very poor customer service when it comes to blacks. I hate this store and wish they close it down
