Spending Quality time with my son in the beautiful outdoors of the ranch. Our guide Mitch was super to hunt with. My son's dog, worked great with Mitch's dogs. What a pleasure it was to hint with the dogs. The accommodations were very nice, and the food was great. The whole staff was nice, helpful, and appreciative that we spent our time there.

So I was at this place for a educator retreat. I’m super picky about lodging as I’ve been to hotels with bed bugs before. Yikes! I’ve done a lot of traveling over the last 4 years with travel volleyball and this was hands down the nicest most

This was my first pheasant hunt for my 17th birthday and I was blessed to have this amazing opportunity! I was able to go with my dad, uncle, and cousin and it was a blast!! Absolute phenomenal hunting, food, company, weather, guides, and facilities. Watching the dogs work was a real treat and possibly my favorite part~ tons of birds and never a dull moment! Thank you, Ringneck Ranch for an unforgettable experience and I hope to return soon!

Great time, great hospitality. We had 8 guys hunting and it could not have been better. Even though you walk 8 miles per day do not expect to lose weight the food was phenomenal!!!

This place is the real deal! Five lifelong friends participated in a 2-night, 2-day hunt that could not have been any more fun. Great accommodations, great food, great staff, and most important, great hunting. Our guide was friendly, worked the dogs professionally, and made sure we were comfortable and happy. If you don’t have your own dogs, don’t have a place to go, and don’t have all the time in the world, this is a great way to hunt pheasants. We could not have been happier.

We have come here as a family for the last 18 years, ever since our two boys were 4 and 6 years old. My husband wanted to create experiences for the boys and it evolved from there. Now our family consists of 3 adult hunters and 2 hunting dogs and Ringneck Ranch made it all possible.
When you make Ringneck Ranch your hunting destination you will become instantly smitten by the great family atmosphere, unbelievably good mid-western style food, top notch accommodations, very friendly staff and above all, very safe hunting conditions. All levels of hunting abilities are accommodated and you have great opportunities to learn from experienced guides. You may bring your own dogs or hunt with Ringneck’s incredible hunting dogs.
Keith and Debra Houghton, the ranch owners, have an uncanny ability to make everyone feel like a VIP guest and an old friend. They are more than willing to listen to any and all hunt stories of the day’s events, offer advice and comments, and make you feel like the great hunter you wished you were.
Ringneck Ranch can be easily accessed by car from highway 24 or I 70. Specifically, it is located on highway 181 a few miles south of Tipton and 80 miles north/west of Salina, KS. You may also fly in to Beloit and request a pick-up or you may even fly a small plane directly to the ranch as they have their own grassy runway.

We stayed at the Ringneck Ranch in the Carr Creek Lodge due to being in Tipton for a funeral. Having never been to the ranch before I didn't know what to expect.
When we arrived I was pleasantly surpassed by everything. The wood flooring, wood cabinets, and carpeting upstairs are great. The living room, dining and kitchen are very well designed to allow groups to be together and visit. I think the kitchen is supplied with just about every possible thing you might need except your own food. There was a nice supply of plates, glasses, silverware, utensils, pots and pans, crock pot, toaster, coffee pot, mugs, coffee packs, sugar and sugar substitutes. The bathrooms were supplied with shampoo, conditioner, soap and hand lotion. The shampoo is peppermint scented and leaves your scalp feeling nice and tingly. Fluffy towels, wash cloths, paper towels, and kleenex are provided. A nice selection of reading material and satellite TV are available. The upper floor has 5 beds with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The covered screened in porch was ideal as it had 2 tables and 8 chairs.
The lower level which can be rented separately has a family room, table, flat screen TV, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, 10 beds, and a kitchenette.
The beds are so comfortable that I felt like I slept better than I had in years! Needless to say, I would highly recommend the Ringneck Ranch as a place to stay for an overnight or forever!

We met at the Ringneck Ranch for a reunion of mostly retired airline pilots, spouses and friends. Some flew in and landed right at the ranch. Others arrived by car or motorcycle. We were met by Keith and Debra, the gracious owners and were escorted to our modern furnished rooms. The facilities and dining areas were top notch. The staff could not have been more friendly. The food was outstanding and consisted of traditional breakfasts, barbecues, and steaks cooked to perfection. Relaxing around the fire pit at night topped off each day. Had a wonderful time and recommend to anyone looking for a great gathering place with the ranch experience.

We were looking to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday. We searched for a place with great food, excellent accommodations in a beautiful setting, Ringneck Ranch & its staff did more than that.The small details in the room amenities, housekeeping, comfort and cleanliness exceeded our expectation. Lora Barker, the event planner made the booking process and service requests simple job and was able to address all of our needs. Everyone of our group, 50 plus of us, including family members who are used to five star hotel accommodation were completely satisfied with the professional service and local flavor at the ranch. At the end of the event, all were happy & and we are planning to return again for the next family reunion.
I have worked in the hotel industry in Hawaii for twenty years and plan to visit Ringneck Ranch again. This is a hidden gem.
