Great first experience at this theater

My wife and I were staying in Old Town for our anniversary and decided to catch a movie at the Warren Oldtown Theatre Grille. The theater had comfortable seating (we opted for the normal seats, not the recliners) with lots of room between the aisles so I was able to stretch my feet out. They have waiters running around bringing food and drinks, which is nice, although we didn't partake so can't vouch for food quality. There was no problem parking in the garage and the theater was not overly full considering it was a Saturday afternoon. The matinee prices were great too at almost $3 cheaper than my home theater.

Stopped in after an awesome dinner with my love. First visit to the old town theater since the buyout and not impressed at all prices up, service down, quality down, cleanliness down, and 20 minutes of trailers to watch a movie. People talking very loudly during movie and server didn't say a thing to them. Not impressed at all

Upkeep and food has gone downhill since Regal took over!

My husband and I used to love coming to this theater as a special treat/date night. The drinks were great and the food was pretty good for what you would expect at a theater. It was also convenient to not be away from the kids for too long. Anyway, the adult drinks used to come in 32 oz cups (one was always plenty and good). We were surprised at our latest visit with the new drink menu - more options and prices were increased - all mixed fruity drinks were over $10 and the photos showed them in a quart sized jar glass. When the drinks arrived, they were in pint sized jars. Very small and all the way full of ice. My husband had to spend another $10 on a pop in order to have a drink. I just got the free water. The manager told my husband they had upgraded to a better quality of alcohol so decreased the size of the cups. We weren't impressed at all. The food quality was also not nearly as good. The theater smelled very musty (almost like there was pee on the floor) with no air flow at all. We had a pretty poor experience overall and will likely not visit this theater again. It's very sad because we used to LOVE the Warren. :(

I usually have to try a couple of seats before I find one that is comfortable... upkeep of the theater seems to have gone downhill since Regal took over from Warren..and 20 minutes of previews is too much!!

The experience beats the food

This is a great concept. Dinner and a movie AT the movies! However, the convenience and experience far outweigh the food. It's at best similar to "bar" food or ball game food. Chicken tenders, pizza, nachos, etc. But if you want to make sure and get a good seat instead of having dinner first and rushing to the show, it's a winner winner chicken dinner! The Warren Oldtown also serves cocktails directly to your seat. Another convenience factor that is part of the concept. However, expect to drop some cash. If you have ordered popcorn and a coke at the concession lately, you can only imagine how much the cocktails and nachos cost! Not a cheap date night, but definitely a unique one.

Nice theater. Plenty of room decent bathrooms AND wait staff with alcoholic beverages available. And under $10.

Upscale Movie Experience

Forget dinner first, then a movie. Have dinner and drinks AT the movie! Great change of pace to eat dinner while at the show. Variety of food to choose from, mostly burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, but still more than popcorn and candy. Plus you can order cocktails! Go get your seat, push the order button, a server comes to you to take your order and deliver straight to your seat. No need to go to the concession stand. Great concept means you won't ever get held up at a restaurant and miss the movie.

ONCE GREAT, THEN WAS SOLD -- DECLINED EVER SINCE

This theater used to be great . . . then it was sold. It still is pretty good, but nowhere what it used to be. Food is most notable change -- service next. They never get your order right, almost always forget something you asked for (at best) or has to be sent back to the kitchen to be re-cooked (at worst). By the time food order is corrected, the movie is half over.

Very efficient ticket process. Theater was comfortable. The food was quite good. Easy parking. I would definitely go here again.

Dinner while at a Movie

This is an old favorite of mine, Butchers Block is the best sandwich, plus they added tots, forget about it! Love it there, can't go wrong. People are always great too!
