This was a beautiful stop, so worth the time. The church was recently renovated and the hard work and investment was spectacular. Old World quality, beautiful art, stain glass windows, religious relics, rich history.

Just refuse to baptize my children because we can't make it to church every Sunday we do have to work I never heard of this in my life I am from chicago

Went to Saturday evening Mass., very edifying experience. Organ playing was beautiful and traditional hymns bought back childhood memories. Parishioners we spoke with after Mass including the priest made us feel welcome. It was a bit off the beaten path but worth the effort.

We knew that Mr. Kevin Bailey was going to be giving his last time of playing a the church. We had never been in the Catholic Church and was surprised to see so many people there we knew. We were welcomed in and listened to the music and loved every minute of it. I don't remember the date but do remember the music.

There are two Catholic Churches in Bowling Green, both where equal distance from our hotel. We chose St. Joseph's because the Mass times were the best for us. We went through the historic downtown to get there. Upon arriving we saw people parking half way up on the sidewalk, giving the impression there was no parking lot. Behind the church there was a lot with plenty of space. We enjoyed going to Mass is a beautiful old church.

Built in the late 1880's as a parish for immigrant railroad workers, this is a fine example of Gothic architecture and makes for a beautiful short stop while in Bowling Green. The church is gorgeous as it is now but it appears to be in the process of a fantastic renovation where the pillars, walls and ceiling are slowly being painted to mimic similar European churches (and was common for American churches in the day). The Stations of the Cross are also being renovated to their original glory. Take a few minutes to see this church and the renovation in process, as well as the historic neighborhood surrounding it. It is located very close to the historic train depot in town, which I would also recommend.

We were lucky enough to be able to go inside and see this beautiful church which was modeled after a church in Cologne, Germany. This church was built in the late 1800's and its statues and ornate decor are gorgeous. This is still an active parish church and it has been extremely well maintained.

Although we are not Catholic, We thoroughly enjoyed visiting this historic sight. It was a breath taking sight to behold. The building had such beautiful detail. The only regret is that we didn't sing a song as the acoustics were amazing!

When ever I have visitors who have traveled in Europe I take them to visit St. Joseph's . They are amazed seeing this beautiful church . It's truly a work of art and beautifully preserved. You won't be disappointed. The members of this church are still doing the work of God as they have for many many years.
