Huge Lake with lots of boat ramps and a few marinas. One beach Laurel Lake Dam Spillway. It is not handicapped accessible is a hike from the parking lot. I would not recommend it for families or young children.

This was the saddest, grossest kayaking experience I’ve ever had. The interesting rock formations, and the birds in the trees were beautiful but the coast line is literally full of trash. We saw refrigerators, freezers, children’s toys, fire extinguishers, plates, silverware cups, beer cans, and tires and garbage cans Shirts, towels, socks, underwear, shoes, gas cans, oil cans, parts of boats, broken glass tools etc. we were supposed to stay out on the lake and camp for three nights. We found a place the first night had to clear enough trash off the beach to camp and then return to our car so we can stay someplace else. it is a beautiful public access lake that is being destroyed.

this lake is between london and corbin. it's nowhere near williamsburg. i grew up swimming here - i can remember when it filled up.

We always go to the beach when we are there. Love it. Beautiful white sand clear water. Bathrooms are an issue but still love the place

I’ve been fishing for smallmouth and largemouth bass on this lake for years. Has some amazing hollers of flooded timber as well as rock faces. Has plenty of recreational spots to camp and play as well. Love this lake

Laurel lake is moderately poluted lots of debris. Fishing used to be ok but is pretty poor now. Best swimming is by the spillway but they are always posting warnings about swimmers itch. There are also way to many people with boats seeing how fast they can fly from one end of this tiny lake to the other. The drive to lake Cumberland is well worth the gas.

The scenery was wonderful. But most of all the people in the area were friendly and easy to talk to will take the trip again. I have a drone and got some very nice shots.

I have been here a few times on houseboats and speedboats. The water is pretty clear, the views are amazing and there are plenty of coves to explore and relax in. Great activity to do with family and friends. Enjoy!!

This is a nice lake for swimming, skiing, and jumping off rocks. It is well visited but not too crowded the days I've been. Lots of motor boats dragging kids (and grown men sometimes) on tubes and such. Deep.

2 boat ins. White oak near the Marsh Branch ramp off exit 38 I - 75 and Grove boat in near Grove Marina exit 25 and follow the signs. Some trails.

None that I know of. There are pontoon boat rentals at both marinas. (Holly Bay and Grove) There is also at least one boat rental business near the lake called Pier 1 on Hwy. 192 exit 38 off I-75. I dont know if they do canoes or kayaks but they do have pontoons.
