A wonderful place not only to go to the beach, but also it has musical events during weekends. On the first weekend of August we got to hear a performance of a Elvis Presley cover, it was most amusing. After the show, there were fireworks, beautiful!

As one who has a cabin here I can say the people are very welcome you with a smile and in the summer the beach is a great spot to have fun and also the arcades my kid loves going there even though it’s only open in the summer

Nice boardwalk, restaurants, beach, picnic tables, shops, and live bands. Markets available when advertised and amusement rides plus arcade there.

Lovely area. It's a hidden gem. The lake is massive. The beach is thin, but long. It's clean. There are two bathrooms to change in, but kind of gross and not kept up well. There is a lot of grass to hang out on and a little stage is there, too. There are restaurants and little hotels. Even two ice cream spots.

Winnipeg Beach Provincial Campground is amazing. We stayed in Moonlight Bay, spot so. It was great. The park is so clean, has spotless showers and leads right to the boardwalk. This is a top campground, cannot say enough good things.

We love going to Winnipeg Beach. Nice size beach town with a nice business section right by the beach. We usually camp right next to it at the provincial camp ground which is also excellent. Our son used to love going to the arcade and icecream. Very friendly.

Une belle journée de nature et de tranquillité. Beaucoup de gens mais beaucoup de place. Des fleurs et des insectes à observer si on s'y intéresse. À bientôt.

In the off season Winnipeg beach is a quiet community perfect for retirement or writing that epic novel. I enjoy curling here and the restaurants have great food and community spirit. Lots of cool old cabins reminiscent of the glory days when it was the place to take the midnight special to the dance Halls and boardwalk

As one who loves the ocean, I felt stranded on the prairie until I saw this lake, so vast you cannot see the other side. I felt I had returned to the seaside of my English childhood. Little restaurants along the street by the shore added charm. Had wonderful crab cakes at Keesha’s.

Are there still campsites available to the public? We are two adults and two kids, camping in tents, so the kids can go and visit their mother in hospital at Selkirk. Arriving Saturday around 1 pm.

Hi, as it is a large campground area..usually there is space. However; Winnipeg beach boardwalk days is July 17-18-19th. Very busy. Campgrounds available at Green Acres Park, Teulon. Highway 7. Also Stonewall next to the Quarry Park, but do not know if they accept tenting. Either is a quick run to Selkirk. Good luck!
