Lovely day trip. About 40 minutes from Louisville. Grounds are beautifully kept. The art work is lovely with a wonderful description about the artist and the piece .

Amazing sculpture park with a little something for everyone. No paved walkways - everything is grass, but all pretty much flat, so it is fairly accessible. You can rent a golf cart in advance on their website. Well worth a stop!

Located about two minutes off the interstate, this place was a real gem and perfect for breaking up our long road trip. Open from dusk until dawn, it is free to enjoy and they allow dogs (on leash!). The grounds are well done and you can easily visit for a quick stretch of the legs or spend an hour meandering without getting bored. They’ve manicured paths into the habitat such that you feel like you are on a bigger trail system than you actually are, and most pieces are accompanied by a reveal as you approach them from around a bend, not knowing what you’re about to see. They offer a digital map, information about the sculptures and artists, and have clean restrooms. Highly recommend!

Was in town to visit a couple bourbon distilleries on the drive back to Wi from SC. We had the morning to kill some time, and really enjoyed walking around. There is a private residence as you enter, but didn’t find that weird. As we left one of the owners (assumingely), was outside and waved and smiled as we left. Sculptures are interesting forms of art, often quirky, and entertaining. This is free, and on a nice day very pleasant to walk on the paths and look at what artist took the time to create. Beautiful wildflowers amongst the trails.

This sculpture garden is a distance out of town. It looks like an individual just welding some things together around the house or drive telephone poles into the ground. The work is not then interesting or artistic. I do not recommend taking time to visit this place.

The turn into the property is actually someone's driveway. They ask for a donation (box on the left side) as you enter the car park. We felt a bit uneasy wandering around someone's property but the sculptures were pretty cool, at least the ones we saw as we drove in and then back out.

We drove from Louisville to Frankfort on a rare warm, sunny November Sunday just for JSP. We were not disappointed, instead we were DELIGHTED! This is a great place to walk, look at modern/contemporary sculpture, take in nature, etc. It’s on 30 acres of farmland, so the paths are mowed and not concrete. We didn’t have any issues (mid-50’s) walking the paths (ok, I did stumble over a little wood stump, but I’m a klutz). I would also recommend it for families since most sculptures can be touched and/or climbed on. Bring your own water, but there are restrooms available. Charming place, happy day.

We took four kids, ages 10-13, to the sculpture garden. We weren't sure exactly what to expect but it was more rugged than we thought. We have been to other sculpture gardens that have had paved paths. This is large fields with the sculptures placed pretty far apart. So be prepared for a walk and wear appropriate foot wear. There is a little visitor center (pretty much a shed) where you can grab a map and a scavenger hunt. The kids did enjoy it but just don't expect any frills and I would take sunscreen and water with you. Also, we went because it was on our way back from a State Capitol tour. I probably would not make a trip just for the Sculpture Garden. Plan to see a few other things in the area too.

I found this place by accident and am so happy I did. It's a very relaxing and chill private/non profit sculpture park just outside of Frankfort. I'd have never imagined something like it would be in the area. There are about 50 modern sculpture works scattered around trails covering quite a few acres. Take and hour and enjoy the stop. It's highly worth it and completely free.

16-Year-Old Grandson and I saw a few sculptures from the main road of Highway 127 between Frankfort and Harrodsburg KY and decided to explore. Walking groomed grassy pathways, each of the 30 acres offered wonderful huge sculptures of every kind. The posted signage helped a lot to understand some of the pieces.
