Scheduled a morning tee time a week early, staff was friendly over the phone and quickly scheduled without any issue. Upon arrival the morning of, the shop attendant was very friendly and accommodated my dad and wife who were not playing but simply riding along. They charged a reasonable cart fee for them both. She was very friendly and made me feel very welcome. On the first tee, there was another employee near and informed us that the group ahead was playing a scramble and should not create any undue delays. It was a nice touch by a staffer who had no obligation to interact with our group. It was a very hot day but the course offers ample shade throughout the course. I thought the Bermuda greens were in good condition and lighting fast. The rough had more clover than I would prefer as it reeked havoc on locating balls that managed to find their way off the fairway, which was most of my shots. It did not look un-kept, as I thought the entire course had a visually pleasing appeal to it. The course was pretty busy that day and there were several singles and doubles playing that we allowed to play through given our slow pace. All groups were appreciative and pleasant. At the turn, the shop attendant was again very friendly. The shop has limited food options but fine if all you need is a cool drink and a hot dog. I'm not aware if they sell alcohol from the club house. There is a large pool on site that we did not visit, but it had many guests, the pool looked very nice, had two guards and was adjacent to a place where you could order food and eat in the shade. The entire venue looked very appealing. There is also a driving range area and putting green that we did not utilize. The golf carts were mechanically fit but many of the sits were ripped and the interior foam was exposed. This did not impact our experience. This course reminded me of the kind of places I played at as a kid where you could go out with a group of guys in jeans or t-shirts or whatever and just have a good time. The course was in good shape, a great challenge and not a hint of snobbery. If you are looking for manicured flower beds and pristine conditions, you won't like Indian Creek. If you want a friendly place with challenging golf at a reasonable rate, you will not be disappointed. I believe they have 3 sets of tees. We played from the Blues but really should have played from the whites. That would be enough challenge for the casual golfer.
