We found the dam very interesting. I have heard about it for a long time and we finally got to visit. We took several photos to remember this place. A few fishing boats were at the dam. Visitor center was closed.

A little disappointed since visitors center closed claimed to be because of Covid. Got out walked around smelled like dead fish which was laying all around . We were hoping to be able to see more

It's amazing to watch all that goes on at the dam. The water was high and very swift. They are expanding the lock. Then, there's electricity generation. I've been around the dam many times, but the engineering and activity are always neat to see.

We really enjoyed getting out of the car and walking around. We took tons of photos to remember this beautiful place. I found the dam very interesting. I have heard about it for a long time and I'm glad I finally got to visit. The visitors center was close but I do understand why . I would visit again if I'm in the area.

Stopped in here a few weeks ago to check it all out. Very cool-unique-interesting place here.
Easy access to parking and all. Was disappointed that the Visitor Center was closed-very much so. But
you can walk around and check things out and take pictures and all. Would like to go back with the Visitor Center is open again.

This wasn't a planned stop but decided to as we neared here. Its beautiful and very enjoyable. Lots of walkers that morning enjoying the sunshine. Saw lots of fishing boats at the dam. Visitors center closed because of Covid and some construction going on but we still enjoyed it and was happy that we detoured to stop.

The visitors center at the TVA dam was closed, however it was still fun to walk around and look at the dam. There are several visitor spots to park and walk around, we even saw a bald eagle snatch a fish out of the water! They have a turbine propeller in front of the visitors center so you can see what is churning the water.

This is one of the places That i have been many times but I always like to go back there. My family and I have spent many vacations in the Kentucky lake area.

I planning a trip thru the area with about a dozen motorcycles this summer. I am looking for a place we could park with a view of the dam. Also any particularly good eating spots in LBL area.

The hydroelectric dam is very motorcycle friendly, That whole area around LBL is simply beautiful. There is construction going on at the lock so you won't be able to watch a boat lock through. The Dam staff is exceptionally friendly and knowledgable about the area as well as the dam itself.
